Very Good

“Superb house with everything you need”

Reviewed 5 Feb 2018

We stayed here in January '18. This house is set in a great location being just a 3 minute walk to a large supermarket, pharmacy, and a selection of bars and eateries (the standard of the Chinese buffet (WOK) deserves a special mention). Slightly further afield is Quesada (a pleasant 15 minute walk or 3 minutes by car) which, even in winter, is still a lively little town with all amenities open. The property is set in a gated complex which adds to the feeling of security (not that we ever felt unsafe outside). The complex itself is spotlessly clean and just as it appears on the photos. The pool did look inviting but none of us were brave enough to try at this time of year! The house can only be described as excellent - the owners have thought of everything, not only for a holiday but for full time living. The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The bathroom is what we would describe as hotel standard. The warm air heating was much appreciated during the chilly evenings and made the house especially comfortable. All in all this is a great property and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

Owner's reply: Thanks Ken for the lovely description of our property and the outlying areas. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we would love to have you again as our guests in the future.

“A winter stay”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2013

This town house is undoubtedly well equipped and well cared for. It benefits particularly from having an owner that really cares that your hoilday should be a success! We were confident that this stay would be great and it was! Here are just a few pointers for those considering a home for a long stay in the worst of the British winter as we do...... in .January and February. The location is somewhat away from our favourite beaches but car hire is extremely good value and parking is easy everywhere at this time of year! It is in an ideal spot for picking up supplies on foot or by car to several excellent convenient supermarkets. It is also easy walking distance to several good eateries and Quesada has most restaurants open in low season, unlike some places! Many of the neighbourhood properties are unused in winter so it can be very quiet. It depends whether you think that is an advantage or disadvantage! The air conditioning was a great boon (on heat setting). We only needed to run it in the early mornings and the evenings. (Spanish properties are designed to keep you cool rather than warm!) There is no heating in the bathroom which proved to be a little uncomfortable while drying off after our shower so we treated ourselves to a small fan heater which we used (very carefully) to give a 5 minute boost as necessary. For long winter stays the entertainment provided (UKTV/xbox/dvds/games) was very welcome and the wifi worked well. The weather was very windy at times but often sunny and sometimes even quite warm. While the January sun is too low to reach the terraces by February we were able to make good use of the outside chairs. Having said that we were able to find sunny sheltered spots at many of our favourite beaches. In summary this is a lovely place to call your own for your winter stay!

“Excellent value for money - well located and beautifully presented!”

The accommodation was perfect - everything we needed had been catered for, and the property was clean and well p[resented. Grocery shopping within a short walk and an easy stroll into town for restaurants etc. The weather was also good - an extra bonus as warm for the time of year. We have family living nearby so will definitely be booking again.

“A fantastic town house central to everything!”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2012

You often read positive reviews on properties and find something else on arrival, not in this case the standered is every bit as high as suggested and we were delighted with this lovely town house. It is well maintained by Jackie who can not do enough to assist. As we planned to tour the area we found that we were well placed to visit all towns north and south. This is a safe and quiet area and we would recommend it to all.

“Brilliant and well equippedTownhouse.”

Just returned from 12 days in this lovely, well equipped Townhouse in Dona Pepe 2. Very comfortable and the central air con in the bedrooms was a must in the scorching heat. Neighbours Joy and Stuart are lovely and very welcoming as was Jackie who manages the Townhouse. Plenty of space, we entertained 4 friends whilst out there and they really enjoyed the rear patio BBQ. Good local Chinese which soon books up.Other excellent restaurants within 25 mins walk and huge supermarket within 5 mins walk. Well done Wille and Linda, it was our pleasure staying in su Casa.

“Excellent Summer Holiday”

Reviewed 19 Feb 2012

We stayed here for two weeks in August and weren't disappointed. The owners have thought of everything. The accomodation is stylish and well equpped with all mod cons and contemporary design and furniture. The children were well catered for with the XBox, pool, sunbeds, books, beach equipment; the list just went on. Definitely recommended for couples and families. A short walk in to Qesada for a meal was a pleasant change, but a meal in rear courtyard watching the sun go down was a welcome end to the day.
