Villa Trullo Lamia Apulia is a unique property located in one of the most beautiful spots of Italy, in the famous Valle d'Itria, known for its cone-shaped houses called 'trullo'. Less known is the 'lamia', a square or rectangle shaped building, often to be found near the trulli.
Our villa combines tradition with modern architecture. The authentic round shaped trulli combine very well with the sharp lines of the new lamia. The villa has an open character with a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Here you have a comfortable sofa, an antique wooden table and above all, an amazing view on the Valle d'Itria.
From the living room you can go down to the bedroom that has been envisioned as a 'wagon-lits', a train couch with 4 large double beds. This room is very suitable for the children. Next to it the en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower and next to it the WC. From here you can access the terrace outside where you can also find the pool.
Going up from the living room you will find the master bedroom with a very nice tub and overhead shower. We have chosen to give this room an open character.
Attached to the new Lamia you will find the old lamia that is over 100 years old. The vaulted ceiling is a great example of the local architecture. The large tiles (chianche) are original. In the old lamia you have an open kitchen, a comfortable design sofa bed and on the mezzanine you will find a double bed. WC and shower complete this small, but delicious place.
Overall the two structures are perfect for 2 families with children. The sea is only at 12 km (10 minutes drive). Within 30 minutes you will find towns like Ostuni, Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Alberobello. The gardens around the villa have 100 ancient olive trees and the trulli are part of the estate. These are not yet to be used, but having them in front of you embellishes the view.

Siamo stati 5 giorni e sicuramente torniamo. E una chicca, da raccomandare! "Piece of Paradise in Puglia"
beach, swimmingpool, terace with stunning views over hills, olive trees Truli and above all, wine and food: this is paradise. Great for the kids, brandnew facilities and nice old towns are only a 5 minutes drive away. Pascal, the owner, is very friendly and knows the region very well and can provide very usefull information. Highly recommended!

"Excellent house, great view and marvelous swimming pool!"
We spend a week in Villa Trulo. We were surprised by the great view you will witness over the Apulia landscape. For our four kids the swimming pool and garden with olive trees were a great playground. Tip: use the bikes or hire some more in Cisternino and discover the great bike lane across the country which starts near Cisternino. For food: visit the Monday market, a great experience. And of course go to the beaches near Torre Canne, especially Lido Bizzarro: our favorite.
