A converted, detached, coach house and stables set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, consisting of lounge, large bedroom, well equipped kitchen, shower and toilet all on one level with additional TV lounge up one flight of stairs. Set within large private garden, the Little House affords a good deal of privacy backing onto open fields with uninterrupted views to rolling hills and wooded Cotswold valleys from the comfort of your sofa. You have exclusive use of the outdoor table and chairs and can wander the garden as you wish. The Little House has a Nespresso Coffee Machine for making espresso, cappuccino and latte coffees. There is an Outback BBQ available for you to use on those long summer evenings when you can relax and enjoy the sunset. The Little House has a hair dryer and everything you will need for your stay so all you need to do is pack a bag!

With fast and easy access to the market town of Cirencester (six miles), as well as Cheltenham (10 miles), down the lanes to Tetbury (14 miles) or Bibury (13 miles). There are plenty of excellent local pubs and restaurants to suit any pocket and palate just a short drive away.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement, though please note the garden boundary is unfenced and borders a game estate!

Wildlife is abundant keep an eye (and ear) out for buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers, deer, badgers and foxes.

During the spring and summer months delicious free range eggs are available direct from our hens at the bottom of the garden. There will be milk in the fridge and fresh flowers for you on arrival. Egyptian cotton towels and bed linen are all provided.

The Little House has a very efficient thermostatically controlled heating system so even in the chilly winter months you will be warm and toasty. The Cotswolds are beautiful all year round!

The Cotswolds region

Cirencester is the capital of the Cotswolds. It is a market town with regular markets held every Friday and Monday. You can visit the award winning Corinium Museum for some local history and culture and then relax one of the many cafes, restaurants or pubs. Cirencester has a good range of shops, parks and even an open air swimming pool in the summer months. It is the perfect destination for visiting the Cotswolds with easy access to Tetbury and it's royal connections, Burford, Bibury, Bourton on the Water, Cheltenham for a day at the races and many other favourite destinations to explore.

The Little House is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The views from the property are fabulous of rolling hills and wooded valleys. Birdlife is abundant with daily sightings of buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers as well as the usual array of garden birds. You may also see deer, badgers and foxes from the property. There is a local pub within walking distance and plenty of other local walks where you can enjoy the countryside. Nearby Cirencester has an excellent range of restaurants and gastro pubs, we can make recommendations if necessary. There are also some fabulous manor houses and hotels nearby serving excellent food, some with day spas as well.

Getting around

Because The Little House is set in a rural location you will need a car to get around. From the property you can be in Cirencester town centre by car in around 15 minutes. The Little house, though rural, has good access to nearby Cirencester and Cheltenham as well as the other Cotswold villages and towns. The nearest railway station is Kemble which is a 25 minute drive and from here you can travel by direct train to London in an hour and half.

One of us will greet you on arrival and show you to The Little House. After this we will leave you in peace to relax and enjoy your time in The Little House. If you need us we will be available.
