“Blissful weekend away”

Reviewed 22 Nov 2016

My Husband & I wanted to escape the city for a few days and I can say we enjoyed such a lovely & peaceful for a few days we really didn't want to come home. The Annexe was super clean, cosy and in a great location- it really felt like a home away from home. We visited Cirencester, Cheltenham & Gloucester while we were there & had a great time relaxing and doing some Christmas shopping. Cannot recommend enough. We definitely intend on returning to this property in the future- and the Neighbouring Hens were a joy!! Thank you to the very friendly & helpful owners for such a lovely weekend.

Thanks for your great review We are pleased you enjoyed our stay with us Hope to see you again sometime Steve and Bridget

“Beyond Our Expectations!”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2016

When we booked this apartment, we were expecting a small but comfy place to spend our downtime in for a few short days. What we got was worth far more than either me or my girlfriend could ask for. The building is beautifully decorated, wonderfully homely and above all, snug and cozy. We found one of the most difficult parts of the holiday was leaving to go and do anything, because the apartment is so nice. The final day was difficult, as over such a short length of time, we had grown so attached to the building, but it wouldn't have been fair to the next lucky couple to have dawdled much more than we did. Steve and Bridget were ever so friendly and polite, and i can see us staying with them again in the near future.

Sorry for the delayed response, but thanks for your kind review, maybe see you again sometime.

“Excellent place to stay”

Very comfortable, a pleasant walk into town and the owners were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends from Australia visiting Cirencester.

Thanks for your kind review

“Relaxing Stay”

A lovely place to stay, well situated for Cirencester and all the surrounding villages of the Cotswolds.

Thanks for your review, glad you enjoyed your stay

“Nice - but still waiting on my deposit back!”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2014

Stayed here 9th May for a family wedding. The place is lovely however I've had to chase my refundable deposit several times. Infact its now 6 weeks after the wedding and I'm still waiting on it. I've had one email from Steve to confirm he's sorry but then when I complained I've heard nothing more!. Needless to say I will definitely not be recommending this holiday place to anyone. Even though it's a lovely place to stay the way, I feel, I've been dealt with isn't acceptable. There has been no understanding or any emails from Steve to confirm if there's been problems and I'm sure if I didn't pay my money when I was supposed to then I'd not have been allowed to stay. If you're looking for speedy refunds then I would suggest you look somewhere else. I'm very disappointed!

Thank you for your review Angela, Briefly regarding the communication and your deposit I did email and text you a number of times. The quickest most efficient method we return deposits by is PayPal , but I wasn't given paypal details from yourself, on bank details- we then had internet banking password issues our end which delayed the process. However from June 2014 all deposits are automatically refunded via holiday lettings . I can only apologise once again for the delay , and have contacted you since but with no response. As you will see from previous reviews we pride ourselves on our accommodation and many happy guests . Regards Steve

“Fantastic getaway!”

Reviewed 24 Feb 2014

We stayed in the annexe for a weekend away in the Cotswolds, and loved every minute of it. The annexe is set in the perfect location to explore the Cotswolds from. The accommodation was fantastic. It was clean, fantastically furnished, and ideal for a night in, in front of the tele or going out for something to eat in Cirencester, which is only a 15 minute walk away. Steve and Bridget were welcoming, and were very respectful of our privacy. Will definately be going back again in the future.

Thanks for your kind review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and the annexe and welcome you in the future.

“Cosy Apartment”

Reviewed 23 Oct 2013

We stayed in the annexe during a weekend away in the Cotswolds and very much enjoyed our stay. The annexe was cosy and well equipped and our hosts were very welcoming. Decor was nice and modern with a big TV in the living room. The location was great, just a 15 minute walk in Cirencester, which has some great shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks for your great review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay & hope to see you in the future. Steve & Bridget

“Great for exploring the Cotswolds”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2013

Thanks to Steve and family for hosting our family whilst we visited and toured the Cotswolds. At first we were a little apprehensive because the place is in a family's backyard, but the annexe is extremely quiet and Steve and his family are very respectful of their guests. This BnB doesn't disappoint with a nice beach house'esque interior and full working appliances. The accommodation comes with wifi and a huge TV to boot. The beds are comfortable and there's an extra mattress if the sofa bed foam is too thin for your liking. The location is great (a quick 3-4 minute drive from the centre of Cirencester and a very quick jaunt up the A429 to Stow and Bourton are perfect). I couldn't recommend this place more to friends and other family.

It was a pleasure having you, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again. Steve and Bridget
