As most beaches in Croatia are pebble beaches, it is advisable to bring waterproof footwear, particularly for children (TEVA's, Crocs, jelly sandals etc).

Please note that this apartment is located at the top of a steep hill. The downside is that the walk back from the beach / village / restaurants is steep, the upside is the stunning scenery and the serenity.

Please also be aware that the pool is only open from May 1st and that other facilities in the area (such as the water taxi, some restaurants and beach bars etc) can be quite limited in the low season. Most facilities are open by mid-June.

Location description from owner

The Dalmatia region

The arts, heritage and lifestyle, that's central Dalmatia in a nutshell. This makes it a place not to miss - for fun, rest and relaxation while enjoying the 1700-year-old tradition!
In the year 305, the Roman Emperor Diocletian (who had practically the entire known world at his feet), chose the centre of Dalmatia as the place to build the country house in which he would enjoy the last ten years of his life. Today the former Imperial Palace is the settled historical core of Split, Croatia's second largest city and the eternally young, noisy and merry centre of the region's tourism and economy that sets the rhythm, style and cheer for its wider surroundings, the smaller tourist destinations, the islands off its shores and the green hinterland heart of Dalmatia.

A number of one-day trips are available from Trogir:-

SPLIT - A town of classical Roman, old Croatian, Romanesque and renaissance architecture, with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Split is easily explored on foot and is a delightful place to while away a few hours. It is a shoppers paradise, whether wandering through the narrow cobbled streets or haggling for bargains at the large outdoor market. When you need a rest, where better to enjoy a cup of coffee than on the expansive marina looking out onto the islands of Brac and Hvar.

MAKARSKA, the centre of the riviera and coastal area, is a natural choice, with its town square, Cathedral of St. Mark, but above all because of the Franciscan Monastery and its rich collections.

PRIMOSTEN, a gorgeous islet 20 minutes north of Trogir. The prefect place to spend a day exploring.

KRKA Waterfalls, one hour north of Trogir. Enjoy a leisurely walk throught the forest, spectacular views of the waterfalls and the chance to swim in the lake.

THE ISLAND OF HVAR The town of Hvar is the biggest settlement on the island and is famous for its lavendar. It abounds in Romanesque and Renaissance buildings, and Mediterranean atmosphere. A must see for a day trip.

DUBROVNIK - A Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque town - all in one, is a must. Located on the very southern end of Croatia.All-day excursions.

MEDJUGORJE - A world famous sanctuary.

Detailed information on excursions can be obtained at the tourist agencies. In addition we have a local person who offers personalised day trips and fish picnics.

Ciovo Island

Trogir is a town and harbour on the coastal strip of the Kastela Gulf, 27 km west of Split, with a population of10,266. The old town is situated on a small island between the island of Ciovo and the mainland; connected with the mainland by a small stone bridge, and with the island of Ciovo by a drawbridge. The town is a UNESCO heritage centre, and the majority of the buildings are from the medieval period. It is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, full of small intimate restaurants, bars and ice-cream parlors. Lovers of cultural and historical monuments, original architecture and art can wander around at their leisure, soaking up the history. The waterfront, with its long promenade, bars and restaurants is particularly popular at night. Indulge in some celebrity spotting as luxury boats come in to moor.

Trogir ACI Marina has 200 berths in the sea and 80 places on the land. Their website is

“Comfortable and convenient”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2013

Tudorski apartment is located very close to the attractive beach in Okrug. The beach is small, you can walk from one end to the other in 15-20 minutes but it has bars, restaurants even supermarkets close by. The apartment is very well equipped with everything that family needs for stay. We used the BBQ grill on our balcony several times when we grilled the fish that my brother caught. The only negative about the apartment is its location on top of the hill. It is very steep hill and driving through narrow streets is not easy either. Older people might have difficulties climbing up in the heat after the day spent on the beach. Overall, we had a great time and would return again. The owner was very easy to communicate with and all business was handled in professional matter. My family made here great memories.

“Beautiful views from a lovely apartment”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2013

this was my second stay at this apartment and again we were not disappointed. We had a car this time which was better as the apartment is situated at the back of the resort at the top of a hill, the views from the balconies are stunning. The previous week we had been sailing around the islands and from the apartment we could see where we had been, wonderful!!, Visited Trogir one evening via the water taxi, beautiful sunset on the way back. Leonardo's restaurant along the front wonderful steak and Kristain's restaurant in Trogir good as well. Wonderful customer service from the owners, would definitely recommend this for a relaxing place to stay.

“Lovely apartment, great country”

Reviewed 10 Jun 2013

We were very happy with the Tudorski apartment. There was plenty of room and a lovely view. It was well equipped with everything we needed, the owners were able to provide a cot and highchair for us and very efficient at communicating with us prior to our stay. Croatia was a wonderful country to visit and we would love to go back. Bozena was extremely helpful providing an arrival pack, being available for queries and to fix little problems. She also arranged late check out for us which was so useful with a baby in the party. Lovely holiday, shame we had rain!!

“Lovely apartment but very chilly pool!”

Reviewed 10 Jun 2013

As it was only my husband and 4 year old daughter staying in the apartment we certainly had plenty of space! The apartment is nicely furnished, clean and appears well cared for. The only down side I would say is that the pool was freezing and even with a wet suit it was too cold to stay in for more than a moment when we visited. Our 4 year old is more of a walker than most and even she did struggle a bit with the 20 minute walk up from the beach and restaurants as it is quite steep. However, all in all a lovely apartment in a good area.

“Great property, service and helpful owner”

Reviewed 12 May 2013

My friends and I spent a fantastic week at this apartment! The property was clean on our arrival and was very spacious, there were even some basic items in the fridge to get us started. We enjoyed many a night eating out on the balcony and taking in the excellent views. The location was great for us as it was ideal for access to various climbing sites (we would recommend Omis) and water sports such as diving and rafting. Hilary was very helpful, responded to my queries quickly and the welcome pack she prepared was also very useful. Bozena was also excellent and was on hand when needed. Overall a great property and I would return on a future trip to Croatia.

“Excellent apartment and location, beautiful views”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed an amazing week at Tudorski. The apartment was very clean and spacious, even with 7 of us. Every time we used the pool we were the only ones there which was great. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ and eating on the balcony watching the sunset and beautiful sea views. We managed without a car just fine, anywhere that wasn't within walking distance (Trogir, and a beach the locals went to, beginning with D, can't remember the name but it was so stunning) we got Mr V. to take us (a real character and very reasonable prices). The supermarket and main beach are within walking distance. One day we did a 'fish picnic' boat trip which was great fun, which included visiting Solta - very beautiful! We spent two evenings in lovely Trogir, a world heritage town, where they have some fantastic restaurants. The welcome pack we received was full of useful information and ideas. Croatia is so beautiful and excellent value for money. I would recommend staying at Tudorski apartment to anyone, it is a very special place and we had the most fantastic, relaxing week.

“Lovely apartment with wonderful views”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2012

This is a lovely modern apartment looking over the beautiful bay and islands of this part of the Dalmation Coast. Very spacious, with large balconies and plenty of facilities. Good size bedrooms and comfortable beds. Swimming pool was a good size too, and pleasant to have a dip after the climb up the hill from the village. You do have to be fairly fit, as it is a climb, takes about 10 -15 minutes depending on how fit and how hot it is. It didn't bother us, especially in the evening after a meal, quite nice to walk it off. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and a beautiful beach about 20 minutes walk round the coast. I would certainly reccomend a stay in this lovely area and comfortable apartment. Transfers were also arranged back to the airport, very efficient and reliable, and takes the worry out of organising taxis.

“Lovely clean apartment with beautiful views”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2012

I had been to Croatia in 2011 and fell in love with it, so when arranging my daughters hen holiday thought it would be a perfect place and it was. Spacious accommodation with lovely balconies. Owner arranged a taxi to collect us from split airport which worked perfectly, it was a fabulous break and would definitely recommend the fish picnic which we booked down by the beach.

“fantastic view from roof terrace”

Reviewed 2 Oct 2011

We spent 7 nights in this apartment and had a great time from the welcome pack provided, 'birthday cake for my husband and ride at 630am to the airport. The apt was very clean and had everything we needed including dvds to watch when we decided to stay in for the night. We spent most days at the small beach at the end of the road and ate locally at the restaurants. It was a very relaxing holiday

“fantastic apartment and location”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2011

We spent two weeks in the apartment and were delighted. The views from the balcony are amazing and the apartment itself is very modern and well layed out. We were almost the only people that used the pool so the children had a great time. Plenty to do as well and we managed to keep the children entertained with boat trips, canyoning, castles etc. We hired a car for the two weeks but you could almost get away without as most of what we did was accessible by boat or organised trip. Not expensive to eat out and the food is simply but well done. The pack provided by Hilary is full of useful ideas and she was very helpful with my numerous questions. Croatia, if you have not been is beautiful.
