PEN Y GRAIG is a comfortable, spacious C19th farmhouse divided into two Wings (The Front Wing & Back Wing) each sleeping 4 + cot.

The FRONT WING has wonderful sea views is quite self contained, has its own private garden and entrance and is not overlooked by the other Wing.

Ideal for couples, friends or families on a seaside holiday. Enjoy the many coastal walks, kayaking, bird watching or just relax. 500m to sandy beach, coastal footpath, seafood restaurant, beach cafe and pub.

Electric convector heaters are fitted in all the rooms. No central heating.

The Front Wing of Pen y Graig is furnished in keeping with the age and style of the property. All the rooms are large and spacious with original pine doors and slate fireplaces A complimentary bucket of coal is provided for the open coal fire in the sitting room There is a large comfy three piece suite, 26" lcd tv, dvd, cd/radio and a selection of books. Across the quarry-tiled hall, which has hanging space for coats and a table with plenty of brochures and information on places to visit, is the dining room. This has a wooden floor and large dining table and chairs. Through an archway in the dining room is a modern galley-style kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, cooker hood, fridge and microwave.

Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms. The double bed has a king size duvet. Bed linen is provided at no extra charge. On the landing stands a full size mahogany cot which can be moved into a bedroom. The twin bedroom is very spacious and has countryside and sea views. The large family bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, basin and w/c has an electric shaver point and overhead blow heater. Towels are available to hire. The sunny little porch has a portable BBQ and chairs for the picnic table, which is on a paved area in the front garden. This enclosed lawned garden is east facing and catches the sun in the mornings and afternoons. Electric convector heaters are fitted in all the rooms and a charge for the electricity used is made by meter reading at the end of your stay. There is no central heating.

Church Bay beach (a blue flag resort) is just 500 metres away. A safe, sandy beach flanked by low rocks with pools and backed by a ridge of large pebbles and boulders. Smaller coves and caves can be easily reached, if you explore.The Coastal Path runs along the cliffs behind the beach, where it is possible to spot seals, porpoises, choughs and buzzards.The Lobster Pot Restaurant and Wavecrest Cafe (both with in and outdoor seating) offer a variety of meals or snacks during the summer months.The Church Bay Inn has a sunny patio with panoramic sea views - serves drinks only.
