Kayjon Villa is situated in one of the best and most sought after locations on Koh Samui. The villa is perched on a hillside, facing east, on the north-eastern peninsular, above the picturesque beach of Tongson Bay (which is only a 2 minute walk away) and a picture postcard view of Koh Phangnan island to the north. The beautiful and popular Cheong Mon beach is just 5 minutes away, the Oceanside restaurants and quaint shops of the old fisherman's village at Bophut are just 10 minutes drive and the lively night life of Chaweng is 15 minutes drive away.

Kayjon Villa is an extraordinarily spacious luxury villa arranged on 5 split levels with panoramic sea views that are simply stunning. With 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms the villa is perfectly equipped to accommodate up to 9 people; combining privacy with unique social areas.

It has a superbly equipped luxury kitchen, with all appliances good brand names, fitted out with beech wood cabinets and granite bench tops; dishwasher; microwave; Smeg oven and hotplate with stainless air extractor over the hotplate; a Siemens stainless steel refrigerator along with icemaker. The kitchen also has a bar built into it for serving drinks, along with a granite bench top breakfast bar to compliment it.

Another feature is a grand open plan living and dining area which contains a TV viewing section with specially designed seating and a 10 seat teak and white marble dining table. This area is adjacent to an infinity edge swimming pool complete with Jacuzzi spa that suspends above the sparkling waters of Tongson Bay and gives you 180 degree ocean view. There is a/c to these areas as well as suspended ceiling fans. A guest bathroom on this level (also with a shower) is a well-thought-out addition to this area.

There are four spacious and well designed double bedrooms; the top two bedrooms have vaulted raised timber ceilings, along with concealed a/c units in the ceiling, both with beautifully finished ensuite bathrooms and spectacular ocean views. They both are fitted out with Wi-Fi, TV, DVD, kettle and safe. The huge grand master bathroom has a step-up spa which has been luxuriously finished with granite and marble; this bathroom also has its own a/c. Along with the grand master bedroom and bathroom suite (which has a separate toilet) there is also a study: this has a raised vaulted timber ceiling, along with a Mosquito net over the master bed.

Comes with a recessed in the ceiling a cassette a/c unit, a large, good quality built-in safe, small refrigerator, and of course, a polished timber desk with leather high-back chair. The built-in furniture contains drawers and shelves, a high-tower computer, printer, telephone and the DVR unit that runs the security cameras. The Teak door to the study is secured by a keypad lock.

There is another master bedroom/bathroom suite on the lower level; this is a very large area incorporating a dressing room, the ensuite bathroom and a good size balcony. The features here are a two-way bed, subdued lighting and a large ceiling mirror over head which adds life brightness to the room. This bedroom also comes with Wi-Fi, TV, DVD, fridge, kettle and safe. The room has full length windows allowing for a fantastic view of Tongson Bay at all times from your bed. This room also leads out to under the villa, through the dressing room, to a small patio area with a hammock, to relax in the garden in the cool of being underneath the villa. The a/c in this room is also the cassette type hidden in the ceiling, to give all round cooling, along with a floor rotating Fan if needed..

Alongside this room is another bedroom with twin beds, ideally suited for children, as is fitted out in an ocean theme, with fishnet around the recessed lighting etc, this room also has Wi-Fi, TV, DVD, fridge, kettle and safe, along with a child safe bathroom and cassette a/c.

There is also a single bedroom with ensuite bathroom, perfectly suited as a maid's room, leading from the laundry.

The large laundry has a large black granite bench top with sink and cupboards above and below the bench, a front loading washing machine, and a clothes dryer. The villa can also be accessed via the laundry door; it is protected by the security system. There is also a very convenient large storeroom off the laundry.

Also on this level is a large cellar, spectacularly furnished for storage of wine & spirit bottles with a table and bench seats for wine tasting! A temperature regulated wine refrigerator to keep the champagne and white wine cold, together with an adjacent bar refrigerator for the mixer drinks. This cellar is a feature of the villa and has to be seen to be believed, with a lot of teak in the construction along with being fully air conditioned.

On the lower level below the bottom two bedroom there is a large open area Ideal for parties, gym equipment, etc. approx. 140 sq mtrs. This area is covered by CCTV camera..

Below this level you have a enclosure ideal for storing canoe, kayak, surf board etc all under cover, with a security gate at the bottom leading to the road to the beach.

The interior has been professionally designed and decorated by one of the best interior designers on Koh Samui. Most of the furniture has been specially designed and made for the villa.

All doors are solid teak along with Hafele stainless steel hinges, door handles and locks; each room can be individually locked for added security.

The villa has all 5 bedrooms and bathrooms fully air conditioned.

The very large living area has 3 ceiling fans along with air conditioning on request at an extra charge..

An integrated intercom system throughout, telephones, and a CCTV security system is installed, along with Wi-Fi throughout the whole villa to compliment its security.

There are two long fish ponds with water fountains leading to the entry that has dual teak front doors, a teak parquetry floor entry hall with a vaulted timber ceiling, with a view looking down through the main living area, over the infinity-edge pool that merges with the ocean.

To finish off the landscaped gardening there is extensive planting covering the whole 600 sq mtr block. The villa collects most of its own water from the roof which is stored in tanks in the ground, to the capacity of 12,000 litres. As the gutters are Stainless steel the water is of good quality..

Unusually, this villa has a lock-up garage for a vehicle, with a stainless steel electric or manual roller door. It also has a vaulted timber ceiling, a sink, tap and shelves. Entry to the garage can be by either a teak door near the front entrance to the villa, or a door that can be used to enter the garage via the laundry.

Family fun can be found also at the monkey theatre, aquarium, butterfly garden, crocodile farm, snake farm, elephant trekking sites and the zoo. There is a motor cross track, with both ATVs and dirt bikes, a Go-cart circuit and two bungee jumping centre's. There are numerous operators offering scuba diving, rentals of sea kayaks, windsurfers, catamarans or larger yachts are available for tours and charters and for those seeking relaxation there are many luxury spas offering a wide range of treatments. Koh Samui is really the perfect holiday retreat, little wonder that so many visitors fall in love during there stay on Samui!!!

The Surat Thani Province region

Ko Samui is in the Gulf of Thailand, about 35 km northeast of Surat Thani town (9°N, 100°E). It is the most significant Island in the Chumphon Archipelago. The island measures some 25 km at its widest point. It is surrounded by about sixty other islands, which together compose the Ang Thong Marine National Park (Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park) and include many other popular tourist destinations, including, Ko Phangan, Ko Tao and Ko Nang Yuan.

Nathon is the major port for vehicular and goods transportation from the mainland, it is the centre of the fishing industry, and remains the seat of the regional government. The majority of the government functions are based here, as is the public hospital. Being the location of the main port and the closest inhabited area to the mainland provided the impetus for Nathon becoming the commercial centre for Samui locals. More recently, the decline in dependence on the local coconut industry, the continued growth and development of the tourist industry, and the northeastern location of the airport, has seen the slow move of the commercial centre to Chaweng.

Choeng Mon

The central part of the island is an almost uninhabitable tropical jungle mountain called Khao Pom, peaking at 635 m. The various lowland and coastal areas are connected by a single 51 km road, running mostly along the coastline and encircling the bulk of the island. On the northwest coast of the island is the old capital, Nathon. Although Nathon spreads over a large area, the actual port and main business district is relatively small.
