Description

Casa Moginar is a modern built country house finished in 2011. It is situated in a completely private & unique location at the end of a winding farm track through terraced orchards. The property has all the requirements for a comfortable and relaxed stay and is built on one level flowing across the side of a hillside terrace. At one end is an open tower room, reached by external steps, an ideal place to take advantage of the stunning views and cool breezes in the summer heat. The house blends into the countryside and is designed for easy living and comfort. It is warm in winter with underfloor heating throughout, double glazing & well fitting exterior doors. Internally it is well equipped with comfortable beds and large rooms. The house is completely yours for your stay.

Outside there are numerous terraces for eating out, sunset cocktails and watching the wildlife. It is an ideal base to explore the Lecrin Valley & Alpujarras with numerous local walks, a variety of flora & fauna and close motorway access to Granada, its ski resort & the beaches of the Costa Tropical.

The House Sleeps 4/6 with 2 double bedrooms, 2 en suite bathrooms and a large sofa bed in the lounge. This is a spacious modern superbly equipped house with absolutely stunning views and an above ground swimming pool. The property is located at the end of a rural track winding through orange groves and offers peace and tranquillity in this beautiful unspoilt area of the Lecrin Valley. Warm in winter and cool in summer. Good access to Granada and the Costa Tropical with beautiful local walks. Good facilities at local village nearby.

The living areas in this house are very spacious compared to many Spanish village houses where the space is restricted by the size of the plots.

The location is blissfully quiet, if that is what you crave, no barking dogs, noisy neighbours or motorbikes, just the hum of bees and chirping of the crickets at night. The plateau above the house is an old almond grove with the remains of a supposedly Moorish Castle Wall on one edge. The area is a paradise for birds of all sorts.

Getting around

A car is essential to tour from Casa Moginar and there are some great places to drive to and walk. Visiting Granada by car is busy, easier to drive and park at the Nevada Shopping complex on the Granada ring Road and use the newely built tram system to go into the centre of Town

Interaction with guest

Our local representative Emma looks after the house if there are no guests and we aren't there and she will meet you in Talara to show you down to the house, showyou round and give you keys. She lives locally and is available if anything goes wrong and knows the area well but is not your personal travel courier.
