Description

Would you like to experience authentic rural England ?

There is not a better location than an old Saxon hamlet originally listed in the Domesday Book in the picturesque rolling hills of the North Cotswolds. There is not a better place there than a room in our 17 century farm house with its original features - beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace, AGA cooker.

You can choose one of the two options that we offer on a B&B basis.

The Pink Room is the main bedroom in the house, on the second floor. The room is spacious with a king size bed and we can provide additional beds (a futon and/or a cot) on demand for children.

The Yellow Room is the other double bedroom on the second floor with an original fireplace feature.

Guests are welcome to use the Living Room during the day and evening. In the morning breakfast is served there too and guests can choose to order English breakfast ( eggs from our own hens) or continental breakfast with fresh AGA

“Welcoming, comfortable, friendly, good food and genial hosts, set in rolling green hills of the Cotswolds”

Reviewed 10 May 2013

Our experience was very good and all you could wish for in a bed and breakfast.Konstantina and Tim make you very welcome providing clean and comfortable amenities, good food, invaluable help with places to see in their area and how to get there, interesting discussions with insight into the history and culture of the Cotswolds , with the beautiful backdrop of their stone home and garden. You could not wish for a more pleasant stay and you leave feeling that you have made good friends.

“Wonderful house and a wonderful family”

Reviewed 9 May 2013

I stayed at The Old House over the Bank Holiday weekend with my sister and a friend. All I can say is good things about the Dee family and their beautiful farm house. The house is huge, with lots of original features and country charm. There is also have a huge garden, which is worth exploring on its own! The accommodation was comfortable and very well priced, especially with the delicious home cooked breakfasts in the morning The Dees are warm, welcoming and attentive hosts, who treated us like family during our stay. I would highly recommend The Old House!

“Lovely people”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2013

We stayed at Tim & Konstantina's for two very comfortable nights with our two young children. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The top floor of the house we had to ourselves which was more than enough for a couple of nights. The best way to start a day is with a decent breakfast, well we were spoilt for choice and the freshly baked bread was amazing, the breakfasts really set us up for our action packed days. Tim & Konstantina have a lovely family and our children loved playing with their children. If you want somewhere nice and peaceful that's located in a good area to explore the Cotswolds then look no further. With warmer weather it would have been even more fantastic.
