Enjoy the tranquillity and seclusion of our spacious pool house chalet, located on our 30 acre working farm and equestrian centre in the rural hamlet of Henton on the outskirts of Chinnor. Opened for the first time as a vacation home in 2016, we are sure that The Pool House at Upper Farm Henton will be your home away from home.
With its own private swimming pool (heated from May to September) and a year round outdoor hot tub jacuzzi spa, you are surrounded by acres of green pastureland paddocks and our 1 acre carp and coarse fishing lake. Our self-catering chalet is the perfect setting for those who want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The Pool House at Upper Farm Henton is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway, or as a base for walkers, cyclists, anglers and business travellers and as we are only 40 minutes from Heathrow airport it’s also ideal for international visitors.
Located in an area of natural beauty and with spectacular views over the Chiltern Hills to Bledlow Ridge, it is the perfect setting for those who want a relaxing break in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. The village of Chinnor is 1.5 miles away with convenience stores and a few eateries plus we have the historic Chinnor Steam Railway, the town of Princes Risborough is just 4 miles away, with a good rail service into London Marylebone (40 to 50 minutes) and the historic market town of Thame is 7 miles away.
For birdwatchers, our fishing lake is surrounded by trees and is the home to red kites, kingfishers, sparrow hawks, woodpeckers, buzzards, kestrels, ducks, moor hens, pheasants and some very friendly robins and wrens. In the evening you are like to see foxes, badgers, rabbits and munt jack.
With two public footpaths running through the farm, walkers and cyclists can quickly and easily get on to the Phoenix trail and The Ridgeway, with miles upon miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore.
Angling guests at The Pool House have unlimited and inclusive access during their stay to fish our 1 acre carp and coarse lake located 100m from your holiday accommodation.
The Pool House is ideal for 1 to 4 guests. Please make sure that you are happy with the sleeping arrangements and bed configurations prior to booking.

“Gorgeous quiet property”
We stayed in the Pool house for two weeks in October, enjoying the lovely surroundings, dog walks, local pubs, 5 minutes to the nearest town and lovely relaxing hot tub. Gary and Ali the owners and Emma, were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous setting surrounded by beautiful horses and red kites! The property had everything you would need, from clean linen and bathrobes, to amazon prime and internet. Highly recommend this property and definitely hope to revisit in summer to enjoy the pool too.

- How do damage deposits work?
In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

- How do I edit my booking?
You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gary (the owner) a message.
If Gary (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
