Description

We offer a friendly welcome into our warm and cosy log cabin in the orchard along with a spa (jacuzzi and sauna). The Cabin is set in a lovely private orchard nestled in a quaint Dorset coastal village on a quiet and historic lane (no caravans etc. nearby.) The orchard belongs to an old cottage, whose owners have ties with the village for over 2 centuries.

We are dedicated to providing you with a different, enjoyable and relaxing stay, where you can soak up the seaside and beautiful Dorset views. We have 3 good pubs in walking distance with good food too.

Lie in the Orchard under the trees, have a Barbeque, visit the Beach and the fine local pubs tasting great local food and ale, you will find 3 within walking distance. Explore the Majestic Cliffs of the Jurassic coast you may even encounter a fossil if you're lucky. Discover BRIDPORT known as “foodie heaven” tasting lots of local cuisine, visit picturesque Lyme Regis and enjoy getting blown off the famous cob. Excellent opportunities for outdoor sports with ample walking, running and cycling trails.

Enjoy use of our ON Site SPA, with exclusive use of an indoor spa and sauna. Relax in the jacuzzi and Infra Red sauna after a long day exploring the local area. Sauna and Hot Tub sessions are included .

In the kitchenette has it a proper cooker and most pans and utensils and free coffee and tea and milk and a TASSIMO machine if you like that.

Also we have a comfy sofa bed in the living room, so we can now accommodate 3 people! Cabin is around 27m2 in all.

Well behaved pets are welcome.

There is a good bus service from Chideock Bridge to both Bridport and Axminster train station. There is a local post office and store open 7 days a week in Chideock for basic essentials.

“Lovely time in beautiful location”

We had a lovely time here over the May bank holiday. The property is based in the village itself up a pretty lane so close to the village shop and a good pub. It is in a great location for visiting Dorset and only a 15 minute stroll from Seatown a nice pebble beach with another good pub. The property is as advertised and shown in the pictures a wooden chalet/lodge but don't be put off by that we found it very quiet and cosy. The heaters in the lounge/dinning area and the bedroom warmed the property up quickly and efficiently and were easy to use. The bedroom has plenty of storage and the bathroom off the bedroom was spacious with good shower. The kitchen area in the lounge/dinning area does lack worktop space but there is a reasonably sized table which we used and we had no problem cooking breakfast and the odd dinner, we were enjoying the nice pub food the rest of the time. The hot tub and sauna are both well maintained and easy to use and we had a great time using both. Would stay again and definitely recommend it.

Just come back from a weekend break at Cherry Orchard. This was our 3rd stay here and I cannot fault it yet again, If you are looking for a great place to recharge your batteries then this is the place. Tanya is so friendly and welcoming. We once again used her services in the spa. Hot tub and sauna were so needed to unwind and relax. We will be booking again and again and again.

Will and Tania were lovely. There when needed but not obtrusive. Lovely area with loads of dog friendly places to eat.. The cabin was just as described, snug but with everything we needed for our weeks stay. Jacuzzi lovely but, due to disabilities we only used it once. Our dog, Abbi, thoroughly enjoyed her stay, as did we. Due to time of year a light over front door would have been a bonus for when we let our dog out for evening 'comfort breaks'.

My husband and I are just home from a three night stay at Cherry Orchard Retreat and Spa. On arrival we were greeted by Will who was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us to the cabin and where everything was and how to use the heating, he also told us about the local area, places to visit and eat and there was also lots of information in the cabin about the local area, we were then left to settle in. We then met Tanya who was very warm and friendly she showed us how to use the hot tub and sauna and explained the system they use for texting in and out when using the spa so you are not interrupted and also spoke to us about the treatments on offer. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing soak in the hot tub followed by a fantastic massage from Tanya and then a lovely sauna before retiring to the cabin for a very good night's sleep. The cabin has everything you need it is clean comfortable and very warm. The surrounding are very peaceful and tranquil. The local area is very pretty with lots of places to go on long walks with lovely views and great places to eat. Tanya gave us a fantastic massage on our first and last night's stay and also on our last night she did reflexology treatment which I found fascinating and Tanya explained everything as she went along. We found Tanya very friendly and knowledgeable and really made us feel at ease.The treatment room is a lovely warm calming space where you will be relaxed and forget where you are as Tanya works her magic. We would highly recommend a stay at Orchard Retreat and Spa you I'll enjoy a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings and will feel pampered and be very reluctant to leave. We will definitely be retuning again soon for a relaxing break.

Back from a long weekend with my 2 daughters. We were warmly greeted by Tanya on arrival. You found everything you needed in the cabin, it was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Great facilities with hot tub and sauna, lovely surroundings and very peaceful location. Dorset is beautiful and Chideock is a brilliant place to stay with it being so easy to get to other villages, towns and beaches. Would recommend the cabin for anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing base to explore the beautiful area. Would also recommend the George Inn which is only around a 2 minute walk away, great food and friendly staff. Will definitely want to stay again

Nice clean chalet with all amenities needed. Shops were fairly close by but a car was needed. Didn't have a bath only a walk in shower room which wasn't ideal but was in working order. Overall, had a very comfortable stay.

I found my stay at Cheery Orchard and the Orchid Spa excellent and most relaxing! Will and Tanya are most friendly and the treatments provided by Tanya at the Spa are superb and excellent value for money. I would recommend a stay at this superb retreat for anyone who wanted to unwind and relax in good company.

Had a great stay in this brand new accomodation only built this summer. The wooden building was spacious enough for my wife and I with en suite bathroom and living area with TV and freeview. Nearby are some amazing pubs and great local walks, including the Golden Cap. You can walk to the beach in 20 mins which is a popular holiday resort in summer time. Will and his wife made every effort to accomodate us, including lots of visits to the jacuzzi and sauna next door whcih is also on their property and included in the price. Would definitely return and recommend.
