Excellent opportunities for outdoor sports with ample walking, running and cycling trails.Enjoy use of our ON Site SPA, with exclusive use of an indoor spa and sauna. Relax in the jacuzzi and Infra Red sauna after a long day exploring the local area. The sauna provides the same effects as exercise as the heart receives a workout similar to a 20-30 minute session and the body perspires the same amount as a 6 mile run. IR saunas are perfect for those who do not have time for regular exercise or suffer from injuries that inhibit for rigorous activity The Jacuzzi's hydrothermal therapy used to tone up the body, for circulation, and the immune system, and to bring relief from pain. Water seems to have special powers in getting rid of stress and rejuvenating our body. Of course, daily Sauna and Hot Tub sessions are included . In fully equipped kitchenette is free coffee and tea and milk and a TASSIMO machine. Also we have a comfy sofa bed in the living room, so we can now accomodate 3 people! Location description from owner

The England region

The famous Jurassic Coast of Dorset has been awarded World Heritage Site status. The Dorset and East Devon coastline is where countless fossils have been found and is a remarkable place. The highest point on the south coast is right here (at Seatown) and is called Golden Cap. Amazing views to West and East. If you like food we are situated in a Foodie heaven, and Bridport will hopefully ring a bell… the area is also home to the original River Cottage where Hugh started his quest of local, home grown and foraged stuff. Love food, love West Dorset! Fish is the speciality, of course, straight from Lyme Bay. Take the George Inn just literally next door (150m), amazing food, and the Anchor on the beach here (1km), both great for foodies. The Riverside in West Bay is set in the middle of this fishing harbour famed for the series Broadchurch, it looks like a large wooden hut sitting on the river Brit. There is also the historic nearby resort of Lyme Regis which is a wonderful day out and has Tierra Kitchen which is a famous vegetarian restaurant. The Anchor Inn in Burton Bradstock a local Pub for great sea food, it's run by our neighbour Paul. Another good place to enjoy fresh seafood is the Hive Beach Café also in Burton Bradstock, both are fantastic. These guys are committed to all local food. The River Cottage canteen is in Axminster which is also just down the road

Chideock

We offer the following things of note In a private place with beautiful Dorset views including:Tranquil private location in the trees, not overlooked, Orchard and Hill views, Wildflower meadows.Castle Ruins at top of the lane, ideal walkies for well behaved dog friends. We have of course an off lane Parking Space reserved for you. Footpaths and Cycling Running Routes mapped and on the doorstep. We have bikes for free loan- but a returnable deposit is required.. SW coastal path nearby. Foodie Heaven - we can make you bookings at the best local restaurants and eateries and tell you about local food fares etc..Breakfast and other meals can be cooked in the the cabin's own fully equipped kitchenette, free tea coffee and soft drinks.

“Fantastic location”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2016

Back from a long weekend with my 2 daughters. We were warmly greeted by Tanya on arrival. You found everything you needed in the cabin, it was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Great facilities with hot tub and sauna, lovely surroundings and very peaceful location. Dorset is beautiful and Chideock is a brilliant place to stay with it being so easy to get to other villages, towns and beaches. Would recommend the cabin for anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing base to explore the beautiful area. Would also recommend the George Inn which is only around a 2 minute walk away, great food and friendly staff. Will definitely want to stay again

“Nice, quiet site - well maintained.”

Nice clean chalet with all amenities needed. Shops were fairly close by but a car was needed. Didn't have a bath only a walk in shower room which wasn't ideal but was in working order. Overall, had a very comfortable stay.

“Orchid Spa”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2013

I found my stay at Cheery Orchard and the Orchid Spa excellent and most relaxing! Will and Tanya are most friendly and the treatments provided by Tanya at the Spa are superb and excellent value for money. I would recommend a stay at this superb retreat for anyone who wanted to unwind and relax in good company.

“Definitely Recommend”

Reviewed 20 Nov 2012

Had a great stay in this brand new accomodation only built this summer. The wooden building was spacious enough for my wife and I with en suite bathroom and living area with TV and freeview. Nearby are some amazing pubs and great local walks, including the Golden Cap. You can walk to the beach in 20 mins which is a popular holiday resort in summer time. Will and his wife made every effort to accomodate us, including lots of visits to the jacuzzi and sauna next door whcih is also on their property and included in the price. Would definitely return and recommend.
