Description

A modern detached house which offers off road parking, and a garden within a gated area. Fully central heated. With TV's, and a DVD player, barbecue and free Wi-Fi.

The property has 3 double bedrooms (1 on the ground floor), one of which has zip and link beds, which easily convert to either twins or King. We can comfortably sleep 6 persons, and also have the option of a single foldaway bed to accommodate 1 extra person, for a small supplement of £25, payable on arival. If your stay is in excess of seven nights, the linen is changed, at a mutual date and time.

There are 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), with showers over low level baths.

A separate dining room leads to a spacious well equipped kitchen with modern appliances; including dishwasher, washing machine, built in oven and induction hob.

The lounge provides a comfortable area in which the guests can relax and unwind after a busy day pursuing their chosen activities or visiting one of the many attractions within the Chesterfield area or the Peak District (which is within a short drive).Patio doors lead into the garden.

The area of Brampton, where the property is located, is popular for its many bars (some of which have live music and real ale), restaurants, coffee phouses, and independent shops. Most of which are within a short walking distance.

A girls weekend, lovely welcome basket on arrival. Beautiful home and had everything you needed. Peter and Carole are very welcoming and made us feel extremely welcome. Defiantly a 5star service

“Christmas Break”

Fox,s Place is an exceptional holiday home. We spent five nights there with my sister and her husband to celebrate Christmas together. We were met by Peter who showed us around the very clean and well decorated house. They had even decked out the house with some tasteful Christmas decorations making it feel like home from home. There was a welcome tray awaiting us with tea, coffee, biscuits and mince pies and also ice and milk in the fridge. The house is well stocked for all your needs to make a very pleasurable stay. The town centre is not far away and there is a good choice of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Peter and Carole are very friendly and go out of there way to make your stay memorable. I would not hesitate in recommending this holiday letting to anyone wishing to visit this area to explore the many tourist attractions in the Derbyshire Dales.

“Excellent property and friendly owners”

Stayed there over a long weekend with some friends. We have had a meet and greet service from owners Carole and Pete. Was able to do a late check in and check out as we traveled from far. Property was very clean and cosy, we all felt like home. Pete and Carole left us a little hamper with teas and coffies as well with some mince pies and milk and water in fridge. Owners were brilliant, nothing was too much for them. Overall a very pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend it!

“The pictures don't do it justice!”

This house was such a great place to stay and even better than we had thought it would be. The owners had provided some welcome snacks, blankets in the living room to snuggle up under, and plenty of towels. I would rate it 10/10 for cleanliness and I was very happy with the decor of the place. If I was ever to visit the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay there. I would highly recommend this place.

Carole and Peter were fabulous from the start of my booking until leaving their beautiful home at the end of our trip. The house and gardens are beautifully presented and came with everything we needed for our stay. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend Fox's Place to anybody that needs a place to stay in Chesterfield.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Peter (the owner) a message.

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
