The House at Waters Edge is a jewel of a find in Chester centre. It has three double bedrooms, two of which can be made up as a twins if needed. Three bathrooms (two ensuite). Free parking for up to 2 cars on the private driveway and more public parking nearby.
Launched in 2014, by the award winning owners of the River House, Chester (Home IDs 167690 & 5521353) this TripAdvisor Top 10 luxurious property is a great base to explore the city on foot. Park up and relax.
Both the living room and the kitchen dining room are beautifully presented sociable areas, finished to an excellent standard. With the exception of the bathrooms, every room has a flat screen TV. Netflix is available in the living room. There are DVD players in the bedrooms. Power shower in all three bathrooms and bath with shower in the main bathroom.
The House at Waters Edge sits on the Shropshire Union Canal, so enjoys great views, peace and quiet to the front and a privileged gated courtyard and parking at the rear. Five minutes walk to the race course, and a short stroll into the city centre along the walls, the tow path or the main road. There is no need to drive as everything in the city is within easy walking distance. Late check out may be available on race days - just ask to check.
The owners also have two other houses listed with Holiday Lettings. The River House (Home ID 167690) and, next door to it, the new Riverside Apartment (Home ID 5521353.) All properties sleep up to 6 adults, with at least two bathrooms and two parking spaces.
Chester has plenty of events to enjoy from Food and Drink festival to the Races. Good golf around Chester and Hoylake on the Wirral and a great base for the Open Golf in Southport. Chester itself is full of wonderful shops hidden in the Tudor rows, good restaurants, museums and great connections to North Wales, Liverpool and Manchester. A wonderful place for family or friends to enjoy the beautiful city of Chester and surrounding area.

“Immaculate house in excellent location”
The house is finished to a very high standard with lovely attention to detail. Flowers, bread, butter and milk on arrival was much appreciated. The option of having 2 of the bedrooms either double of twin was ideal. The house is situated in a quite location, but only 10-15 minutes walk to many places, including the walls, restaurants and city centre.

We were a group of 3 couples and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely house. It was ideal with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is beautifully fitted out with everything provided. Great location both for the racecourse and the city center.

Luxurious house in quiet location overlooking canal near to the racecourse and within walking distance of city centre amenities. Free secure parking. Excellent selection of basic provisions provided. Excellent riverside walk nearby.

“Excellent location for accessing Chester and the local areas”
Instructions ahead of arrival clear and helpful. Accommodation very comfortable and consideration for all needs. Location excellent for access to Chester and the surrounding areas. Located in a quiet area with views over the Canal and parking directly outside a definite plus.

“perfect luxury house, in perfect location”
six of us stayed 2 nights 4th-6th august, in this luxury house it is differently 5* well equipped with everything you need even bread and butter, jam and biscuits, not to mention equipped with tea, coffee, sugar etc. it took about 10 minute walk into Chester, and a 5 min walk to the race course we would differently say here again and highly recommend.........

“Lovely, conveniently located property”
Just returned from 3 night stay at Waters Edge; lovely, well equipped and beautifully maintained and decorated property in an excellent location. Melanie was friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful time - our stay included a day at the races and a day at Chester Zoo. We had a great meal at 1539, excellent food and service.

“Fab house and great location”
A group of 6 friends stayed here for a Christmas get together for 2 nights. We were more than pleased with our choice, well appointed, tastefully decorated and added welcome touches. Overlooking the canal and opposite the city walls with a short stroll along these bringing you in to Chester city centre. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the pleasure of staying at "The House at Waters Edge" recently for a girly weekend. The house and location were perfect, and contributed to a great weekend. Special mention must go to Melanie the owner for being so accommodating with us regarding check in and check out times, and also for her really helpful recommendations for local restaurants and bars which were put to good use. A beautiful house in a beautiful city!

“A lovely house in a great location”
We had a very enjoyable stay. The house has everything you could need and Chester is a lovely city to walk around, with great restaurants. Thanks to Melanie for local recommendations.
We stayed for two nights and couldn't have been happier with House at the Waters Edge. Booking it, making payment and recieving access infomation was hassle free. On our arrival it was spotless and had everything we needed, including a welcome hamper on our arrival which was a lovely touch. It's in a great location, only a short walk into the centre to shops and restuarants. It was a perfect location to have a get together with friends and I would highly recommend it.
