“Cosy apartment in convenient central location close to EVERYTHING”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2013

Owner Pete very friendly and helpful. He had lots of time for us from initial first booking and at the end of our stay giving us lots of tips especially about parking in Chester. The apartment itself is in an amazing location - close to everything. Lots to do in Chester itself with restaurants and pubs galore. We had a lovely meal in the Bear and Billet (Thursday night menu really reasonably priced and pub itself was very traditional). Loved the history of the town especially the Roman influence. The City bus tour was very informative and going round on a lovely sunny day really made all the difference. Visited Chester Zoo and had a great day there and only a 20 minute drive away. Did lots of shopping in Chester itself and at Chester Oaks Outlet Centre again only a short drive from the apartment. Spent a few hours at Go Ape in Delamere Forest which was so much fun. The highlight of our stay was a day out in Liverpool (half an hour's drive away). Being a Beatles fan I thoroughly enjoyed the Beatles Magical Mystery Bus Tour and my husband loved the Anfield Museum and Stadium Tour. Lots to do round Albert Dock and the shopping in Liverpool One was great too. Accommodation perfect for a couple and it was fine for us with two teenage daughters too as lounge was big enough. When we returned the keys at the end of our stay we had a small suggestion for Pete which he was very happy to take on board. Deposit was returned promptly too. Overall a fun packed week and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Chester especially the IDEAL location.
