This super stylish boutique apartment is located close to the River Dee and less then two minutes walk to Chester's historic city centre, where you will find a great selection of award winning fine dining restaurants, gastro pubs and designer shops. You also have the famous Chester Racecourse which is stones through away.

Furnished to an exceptionally high standard this luxury two bed apartment makes an ideal holiday retreat offering all the features of a hotel suite but without the price tag. The accommodation is extremely spacious at 950 SQ FT and briefly comprises of two double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) entrance Hall, extremely large open plan Lounge, Dining Area and stylish Kitchen providing sociable living space. The kitchen comprises of oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a dryer.


The property also includes secure underground parking and fully maintained communal areas with courtyard and landscaped gardens.Alternatively if you prefer a quiet night in, the apartment is fully furnished to cater for everything from a romantic meal for two down to a movie night in front of the TV. We have a top selection of all the latest blockbuster movies which can be played on the 40 inch LED television with built in DVD player.

The opening of the new multi million pound Waitrose located across the road is also a real bonus for our guests. Complimentary beverages on arrival (tea, coffee, sugar, milk)TV, Freeview, DVD and WiFi internet are available free of charge.

"Excellent experience"

The apartment was spot on. Everything had been thought of and it was very clean, stylish, well equipped and comfortable. It was located a 2 minute walk from the main shops, restaurants etc. and yet there was no noise to disturb our sleep. The secure parking on site was much appreciated.. The owner was very attentive and keen to ensure that everything was just so for our stay. We would certainly stay here again. Many thanks.

"great experience at the bars chester"

excellent stay at the bars in chester. apartment was conveniently located near the city centre, with grovenor park right on the door-step. the grey squirrels are very entertaining if your a 15 month old! the apartment was well fitted out with all amenities and we found the owner very helpful and attentive. we would definitely recommend this property.

"Lovely apartment, very well located."

Apartment was well equipped, nice and spacious. The location was good. Directions to property and access was good. The property was showing slight signs of wear with a cupboard door loose, and some of the paint marked but this was probably due to a new property settling. I stayed with my husband and adult son and we loved the property.

"Great location"

We stayed here with our 2yr and 4yr olds children. The apartment was well equipped for everything we needed for keep them happy! The location was great, less than 5 minutes walk to the city centre and only a 10 min drive to the zoo. Underground parking, with a lift up to the apartment was great so we could bundle the kids and all the stuff up! Huge storage room with the boiler in, so great for drying out damp clothes and buggy, etc. Owner was easily contactable and helpful too.

"Lovely apartment in ideal position"

Lovely apartment with all facilities, ideally placed for town, river and canal. The secure parking was a great benefit. We left our cars all weekend and walked. Chester is a beautiful city. We had a great time and would certainly return.

The underground secure parking in The Bars really is a bonus in Chester because of the lack of parking around and its location just a few minutes away from the city centre means you never have too far to walk.

"Spacious and clean"

I booked The Bars in Chester as a surprise birthday present for my wife and family. The apartment was ideal and exactly what we needed. Both bedrooms are a great size and it was ideal for our two young boys who shared the second room, it has been well decorated throughout. The underground car park was great and really useful. The apartment location is ideal and you can be in the city centre with all the shops and restaurants in minutes. We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning.

"Lovely apartment in a great city centre location"

We recently booked at The Bars to visit Chester for the weekend and were very happy with our stay there. The location is just perfect because the apartment is only a few hundred yards from the River Dee where you can go for lovely walks and less than a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants which Chester has to offer. The apartment itself is very spacious and much larger than previous similar apartments I have stayed in. There are two large double bedrooms (one with en-suite) and they both have showers and baths in each. There was also plenty of fresh towels on offer and and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for a weekend away including tea bags, coffee and milk. The secure underground parking was also a real bonus to have because parking in Chester can be a nightmare sometimes and we didn't have to worry about where the car was left or getting a parking ticket. Overall we had a lovely stay at The Bars and I would certainly recommend staying here to anyone due to its convenient location and size.
