“Peaceful”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2016

Lovely cottage with a pretty front garden. Well equipped kitchen ,but only a small fridge. Spotlessly clean with modern bathrooms and comfy beds. The owner , Joan ,was very sweet and very kindly allowed us to park in her drive, as due to unforeseen circumstances we had more than the allotted 2 car parking. Reached by a narrow lane, which meant it was really peaceful and quiet. Only a few miles from Cheddar gorge,,we would definately stay there again

“Lovely cottage”

A lovely cottage with a beautiful garden. In peaceful countryside. We had a fantastic holiday amazing weather, great days out and the cottage was well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The owners and everybody we spoke to in the village were really friendly. Would definitely go back

Thank you for a great stay. Could't ask for any more. Great location, Fantasic views. Wow what a garden, could be a show garden. Cottage has everything we needed and lots of extras. Will defo be back next year.

“Great base for visiting the Mendip Hills and Somerset”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2012

We spent a long weekend at the cottage. Lovely position down a very quiet road with views from main bedroom across the surrounding countryside. Great walks nearby and a pub serving excellent food only 10 mins walk away. You can walk into Cheddar from the cottage but there's lots of other nice places to go to see within a few miles driving distance. Cottage was very comfortable and provided us with everything we needed.
