Description

Situated in the heart of the Mendips in picturesque Somerset, Swallet Farm offers an idyllic setting for a large family get-together, time away with friends or stag or hen parties that don't want the hustle and bustle of a city centre, although we have some great links with taxi companies that can take you in to the nearby city of Bristol.

Monday to Friday Deals available for £1200 + fees for groups of less than 10 of £1700 + fees for groups of 10 or more. Please ask at the time of enquiry.

Our converted farm house and outbuildings have been and still are used as a management training centre for the last 25 years but we are now pleased to offer our unique facilities as a holiday let / leisure break at weekends and during the School holidays

Accommodation is offered over 8 bedrooms, all with their own sink and a toilet on each corridor.

The main shower block and toilets are located on the ground floor.

The bedrooms are a mix of 2 double, 1 Twin, 1 twin bunks, 1 three bed, 1 four bed and 2 six bed bunk rooms – we can sleep up to 26 people and we can accommodate 3 doubles on request.

All rooms are situated on the top floor, but are wheel chair accessible. There is one communal lounge with TV and DVD,

as well as a selection of games and of course free wifi!

Our kitchen is fully equipped to cater for larger groups - with a gas hob , dish washer and Aga included.

The dining room will fully seat up to 28 . We offer self catering only.

In the Mendips , outdoor pursuits are a way of life. We can provide both in-house and with our local, a wide range of exciting and challenging activities, from archery to caving, zip wires to abseiling, 4x4 driving to helicopter rides and much much more.

The Mendips also has some of the worlds most amazing countryside, ideal for bike rides and long walks.

We are also close to Bristol, Bath and Weston for those who prefer a shopping trip or night on the town. We also have a local pub the Castle of Comfort which is a five minute walk down the road.

Keys are in a key safe. There is a member of staff who lives in a self contained flat away from the main house who is on hand if required. Otherwise you are left entirely to your own devices.
