“Fantastic Cottage in lovely location”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely cottage. We had a lovely welcome which made as feel welcome and at home. The cottage is small but spotlessly clean and well decorated. When we were leaving and trying to sum up our thoughts on the facilities, my wife hit the nail on the head by saying there was nothing we went for and didnt have. We found plenty to do in the local area and all within easy travelling distance. Alton Towers took us about 15 minutes and visits to local potteries, museums and parks didn't take much longer. There is handy local food shopping with a Morrisons and an Asda in the village. The rest of the local shops will provide you with any basic requirements you may have , although they are not of much interest for browsing. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and found that in almost every way that Birchenfields exceeded our expectations
