This modern 2 bedroom 3 bathroom single storey villa with private pool is blessed with breath-taking views of the jungle and sea beyond. Recently completed in May 2013, it sits in a quiet cul-de-sac of 7 houses at the top of a beautiful winding private jungle road, it is only 5-10 mins drive from the centre of Chaweng (the main town with all the attractions) and 2 mins (1.6 km) to the main road, from which the nearest beach (Chaweng) can be accessed (via Fair House Hotel) - the longest and most popular beach. I like your stay to be easy, so i provide :-

The house's main advantage is it's wonderful peaceful views and beautiful emerald coloured pool with built-in waterfall. The house, pool and patio also have coloured lighting so at night its a fantastic place to party or just relax. Just walking into the house the first thing you see are the panoramic superb views and most people are breath-taken. Just read the reviews...

- Shade - there is plenty of outside shade on the terrace for dining,
- Lighting - the extra high ceiling in the living room and the blue mood lighting in all the rooms gives a further wow factor,
- Kitchen - modern fully functional with granite worktops and large island unit
- Floors - trendy polished concrete in the lounge & kitchen floors give a contemporary feel whilst keeping the main room cool,
there are comfortable wooden floors in the bedrooms and ample storage with walk-in wardrobes,
- Showers - are powerful with modern mixer taps

Other features include:

- Wi-Fi, Wall mounted flat screen TV with 7 speaker surround sound system
- Filtered drinking tap (so no more shopping for water)
- Stunning glass handrails on the balcony

- Infinity edged pool, + waterfall (waterfall under maintenance at present)
- Eco friendly features such as rain water capture & water storage, instant hot water heater units and low energy lighting.

Electricity is metered and costs a low price of 5 Baht per unit (averages at approx. 80 baht ( 1.50 GBP per day)). We take a reading at check-in and check-out and calculate the difference.

Extra cleaning can be arranged.
Extra Laundry (ie. clothes) can be collected, or there is a drop-off laundry close by.

Care When Staying :- I live close by so can take care of your needs. We help introduce you to the island's amenities to accelerate the start of your holiday eg. advising restaurants, beaches, taxis, things to do etc including Full Moon Parties, tours around island, boat hire, spa etc.

Ready to go :- We try to provide most things for you in the villa so when you step onto the island you are ready to relax. This includes, linen / towels (changed weekly), soaps/shampoos, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, crockery, cleaning materials, pool and house cleaning (weekly), and transport such as airport collections, a free scooter and phone. Car Hire (approx. 900 Baht per day) and others services can be arranged in advance too.

Location :- Because the house in in the hills, its best (but not essential) to use your own transport - scooters ideally or a car. The house is 1.6km from the main road, 15 mins drive from the airport and Bangrak, 30 mins from Lipa Noi and 45 mins from Nathon (Seatran mainland ferries). It is barely 5-10 minutes ride from the main bars/nightclubs in Chaweng but peacefully positioned on the outskirts of town a little in the jungle. Transport (car/bike/taxi) is recommended but not essential to get up the not too steep hill to the house from the main ring road. Nearest beach is just at the bottom of the road (approx. 2km).

*Terms of the scooter:-

Scooter : i will supply a Honda Click Scooter 125cc free of charge. Extra bikes can be arranged 250b per day. Riders must be competent (i may ask you to show me) and hold minimum a car driver's license. Customers are responsible for scooter damage caused and will be billed accordingly. A deposit may be required such as a drivers license or your passport. If you are a novice or have limited experience but still want to try i can give you lessons. Don't be over confident - just ask. Don't feel you have to take a scooter or car. Its just as easy to use public transport, taxis, walk etc because it is all at the bottom of the road.

Airport / Port pickup : mostly made by my usual taxi driver Bung, who knows the villa well. He will greet you and take you to the house direct where we will be waiting to greet you and do check-in. If arriving by boat at Nathon (Seatran) or Lipa Noi (Raja) its sometimes easier if you get your own taxi to Fair House Hotel, Chaweng and i can meet you from there. I will pay 500b towards this.

Phone : I supply a local mobile so you can contact me - it is a local number. It is also useful to order taxis, food etc. Extra credit can bought from any 7-Eleven / Family Mart convenience store.

The 3rd bed (ie. for the 5th person) is a comfortable fold-up single bed and needs to be arranged prior. It goes in the rear bedroom (which already has a queen-sized double). A 6th person staying in the villa is charged at 500b per day.

We live nearby so we will look after you during your stay and try to make it your best holiday ever.

The villa is a 5 minute drive to town, the main town and the best town with all the attractions yet it's up a hill away from the noise..the road is steep in parts but not severe. Everybody gets used to it after their first time , even novice drivers and if u don't have transport I have friendly taxi driver. Some Chinese like to walk it too..and those that like that kind of thing. But in truth..nobody walks 100m in Samui..it's too hot and the sun can scorch..So everybody has transport..their own scooter, car or access to one. So I think the location is a perfect compromise. And others would agree because all the land around has suddenly been sold and built on. The tranquillity high up with views of everywhere at night is fantastically romantic. Transport is small price to pay for such an formidable event. Matt

Why can't I call Matthew (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Matthew (the owner) a message.

If Matthew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
