Chalet Lac de Vonnes is a traditional and beautiful alpine chalet with character and charm embracing magnificent views of the mountains and the pretty Vonnes lake. Your host Darren and his team run the chalet ensuring the highest standards and a great fun mountain biking or skiing holiday. Before you arrive, all arrangements are made for ski passes, ski hire and lessons, so no stressful start, just a glass of Bubbly to get your holiday started. A hearty breakfast and transport to the slopes each morning is a great way to start the day, so no walking in ski boots required. If you require orientation we will love to join you around the slopes and show you the best places either on a bike, walking or skiing and boarding. During the winter we offer a pick up service from the slopes or ski back to within 300m of the chalet. Then relax in the Hot Tub with spectacular mountain views or with a drink by the large log open fire. For the energetic, there is our games room with Table Tennis, Wii, Sky TV/DVD and Dartboard to keep you entertained.

The Chalet is located adjacent the beautiful Lake Vonnes, just a short stroll from the village center and has the option to ski back to within 300m. The new lift connecting Linga and Vonnes to Super Chatel is within 300m of the chalet. Also, with free in resort transport to other lifts each morning if required and with an option of being picked up at the end of the day, there are no hassles getting to the various ski lifts located close by in the village centre or Pre Le Joux, 5 mins drive away.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Darren (the owner) a message.

If Darren (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
