Description

Les Primevères is a family run Gite in the heart of the tranquil tourist village of Menil, with in its walled garden situated at the rear of the property you will find a secluded grassed area and a covered terraced BBQ area with outdoor dinning facilities. It is ideal for a one night stopover, weekend retreat, week or longer vacation. The gite is located 100 metres from the banks of the river Mayenne with its very own manpowered ferry (bac) and a cycle and walking trail which runs the length of the river interconnecting with many towns and villages, perfect for lovers of the French countryside, taking in the country air, fishing and taking life at a more leisurely pace. Bicycle, canoe and pedalo hire are also available opposite the village campsite where you can also find a small family run cafe with outside terrace, ideal for quenching your thirst with a glass of wine on returning from your adventures.

Menil is situated in the valley of Mayenne within easy access to many major towns and cities. Château-Gontier 10min, Angers 25min, Laval 40min, Le Mans 1hr, Nantes airport 1hr30, Rennes 1hr40, Atlantic coast 1hr50, Paris 2hr30.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
