“Idyllic country cottage”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2013

Lovely cottage with a cosy log fire in the living room. The kitchen is a great size and very well-equipped and the bedrooms are great too. The garden is beautiful and the village setting is very quaint. It is easy to reach a variety of interesting places by car. Tim and Alison were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay at this quaint, thatched cottage. The location is around a quarter of a mile from A303, yet the cottage location is tranquil and rural, with main shops being around five miles away. Lots of old beams, a log burner and the range cooker, and more, which all make the cottage very cosy. And at the same time it is comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lots of mod cons. The owners are such lovely people, and while they are respectful of privacy, they are on hand nearby. I definitely hope to return soon to this cottage.
