“Lovely, warm and cosy cottage.”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2016

It is a great place to stay located in a beautiful village of Chardstock. The cottage itself is lovely and has everything you need to feel at home. The beds are very comfortable. There are beaches nearby which the kids enjoyed so much. Would definitely recommend to others for a nice and quiet holiday.

So pleased you found the cottage comfortable. I look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

“Excellent cottage”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2016

I spent 6 nights at the cottage with my husband and parents. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely with a huge living/dining room with comfy settees. There is a large dining table and chairs. There is a TV and DVD player available with books and DVDs too. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower and the other 2 bedrooms share a family bathroom with an over bath shower. The cottage is a real home from home with the single exception of a dishwasher but I took my marigolds! Karen kept in touch and has thought of everything. We had a great time and the weather was kind. It's within easy reach of Lyme, Sidmouth, Seaton Beer and Dorchester. We also visited Stourhead (NT) which is superb. Had a meal at The George, which was fine. Thoroughly recommended. I was a bit concerned about paying by bank transfer but was very pleased that I took the chance. Deposit returned as agreed.

Thank you very much and I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. I aim to maintain comfort in such and pleasant and relaxing location.

“Great cottage in great location.”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2016

We stayed for five nights at the cottage, using it as a base to explore Devon, Sonerset and Dorset. Cottage was pretty, well furnished and equiped, and clean, in a great quiet location. Enjoyed the George Pub in Chardstock and a great meal at the nearby Tytherleigh Arms. Chardstock Village itself is beautiful with lively thatched cottages. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Thank you very much for you lovely review. I look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
