“Relaxing stay in pleasant accommodation”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

Situated in a quite area local to shops Sunshine Cottage is ideal as a base for exploring the area by car or local transport. We found the walk into the village to enjoy the local amenities relaxing, away from busy traffic and the hustle and bustle ensured our family was safe and could enjoy the holiday. The beach was clean and accessible and locals friendly and chatty.

Thank you for your kind comments, I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you both as valued guests again in the future

“Great place to stay ”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2016

This was our second visit to sunshine cottage, we like to take our two French bull dogs to the coast for a holiday! This cottage is ideally situated in chapel st Leonard's. There are shops, fast food restaurants, the beach all within easy walking distance. The cottage has a wonderful large safe garden for dogs, with a fenced off fish pond, my dogs love it The cottage has a kitchen/dining area, the kitchen has everything you need to cook with. The bathroom is downstairs, but there is a toilet and sink upstairs as well . The bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath . The lounge is large with a TV , DVD player and stereo, there's a great selection of books and films to watch . The settees could do with being replaced , but a great space to relax in . There are three bedrooms, one a single room. The electricity is on a pay as you use it system, you have to take the key to the spa shop (5min walk) and add money to it.there is supposed to be £5 emergency credit and £5 left on by the previous guests, so you have some electric to start with, the previous guest were too tight or couldn't be bothered and left us with £2 !!! The electric does last well, we had the heaters on most of the time, Tele and cooker , used about £25 . I would definitely recommend this cottage and will probably be back next year

Hi Kim, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Sunshine Cottage and thank you for your kind comments too. I would be delighted to have you as valued guests again any time in the future

Just returned from a week stay. We had a lovely time, this property is absolutely lovely. Was really clean, bed linen and towels provided were spotless. On arrival there was a pint of milk in the fridge for us, tea bags, coffee, sugar and fresh flowers in a vase on the kitchen table...there were even chews for our Springer Spaniel...This holiday property is well worth a visit and I will definitely be booking to go again in the future

“Home away from home”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2014

We were 5 persons from 3 generations and we all loved the cottage and the town. We were met with fresh flowers, warm rooms and milk and teabags to make a nice cuppa. Neat and clean, fresh bedding and towels on beds. Carl was more than happy to help when we needed help connecting to internet. Chapel was a quite little place but with such friendly and open people. The beach was a short walk from home, and it was only minutes to drive to Butlins and Skeggness. The cottage was a home away from home, and we will definatly come back. Thank you, Carl :-)

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, you have been wonderful guests and i'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay & holiday in the UK, We look forward to being of service again to you & your family in the future

“Sunshine at Sunshine Cottage”

Reviewed 6 Mar 2014

We booked a 2 night short break at Sunshine Cottage in Chapel St Leonards for us and our 2 dogs. We arrived at 3.30, the bungalow was very easy to find and only 5 minutes walk on the flat from the centre of Chapel. The bungalow was clean and there were flowers on the table to greet us and a pint of milk in the fridge, very thoughtful. The gardens are immaculate and I didn't like to let the dogs on them, but they loved it. We ate out and didn't use any of the kitchen facilities though everything was there including a washing machine. A great place to stay if you have furry friends.

Thank you for your kind review, It was our pleasure having you as guests at Sunshine cottage and we look forward to being of service again in the future
