A lovely two bed cottage located in the centre of the quint hamlet of Whitehough, with easy access to the Peak Districts many stately homes and attractions including Castleton's Blue John Mines only a 10min drive away. Prime walking country beckons straight from your front door, and when you get back after a long day in the hills, you will find two award winning cask ales pubs on yards away. The Old hall Inn has been placed in the final six for best Cask Pub in Great Britain for the last four years at the Great British Pub Awards and has a lively and very welcoming early doors trade as well as a bustling restaurant.

Perfectly located for walking

Simply leave your car parked up for the week and take advantage of the fantastic walking straight from your front door, in the knowledge their will be a roaring open fire on your return from a day in the hills. From Spring Cottage you can enjoy uninterrupted foot paths and bridleways to the hope valley, kinder and the surrounding peaks, as well as the open access national trust on the relatively 'undiscovered by tourists' hill of Eccles Pike which forms the back drop to the Cottage.

The peak district is famed for some of the countries most impressive and unique stately homes. We are centrally located to explore them all, with Lyme Park only 10mins away and Chatsworth around 30mins.
