Apartment Chamone is a modern and contemporary property that remains full of alpine charm. This 2 bedroom plus mezzanine apartment is on the top floor of a brand new development of just 10 apartments. Fully interior designed to a very high standard the apartment has been furnished to accommodate those looking for extra comfort and luxury in their ski holiday.
Situated in the peaceful Les Gaillands area of Chamonix Apartment Chamone benefits from relaxing surroundings and fantastic views of Mont Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons throughout. At the same time the bustling town centre of Chamonix with its buzzing nightlife and numerous restaurants is just a short 10-15 minute walk away. For accessing the ski areas there is a ski bus stop conveniently located just 50m from the apartment.
Set on the top floor in the eaves of the building the apartment oozes alpine charm and cosiness with is sloping wooden ceilings and large exposed beams. With one double bedroom, one double/twin bedroom and a further double bed in the mezzanine, the apartment is spacious for 4 and suitable for up to 6 people (with nobody having to settle for a bunk bed or sofa bed).
Excellently equipped, the apartment has WI-Fi available as well as satellite TV in both the living area and bedroom. The property has a spacious cave for storage of ski and snowboard equipment and also has secure allocated underground parking.

The apartment is furnished to a very high standard for those who appreciate that little bit of extra style and comfort while in the mountains. Drenched in natural sunlight, the apartment is both spacious and cosy. The apartment has been fully equipped to provide all the comforts one would expect, details of which are set out below:
The living area benefits from beautiful views of Mont Blanc from the south facing windows. The lounge contains a deep and comfy three piece suite plus two further designer chairs. For your entertainment there is a large LCD TV with UK satellite TV, DVD player and an iPod dock.
Kitchen / Dining Area
The spacious kitchen/dining area has a double height sloping ceiling with large double doors opening out onto the balcony, with views down the valley. The fully fitted kitchen includes washing machine, dishwasher and combination microwave/conventional oven plus 4 ring electric hob. The dining table is good for 6 people and provides a stylish setting to eat and relax with a drink.
The mezzanine area is set above the kitchen/dining area.
The kingsize bed with thick pillows, deep duvet and fur throws is just the place to relieve your tired ski legs. The stylish night stands, dressing table and hanging rail ample space and storage. The bedroom is also connected with UK satellite TV and LCD TV. The bedroom has a small balcony and a sky-lite window offering further views of Mont Blanc
The second bedroom can be set up either as a twin room or as another kingsize double, again with quality duvets, pillows and throws for a comfortable night's rest. The room also has a four drawer chest of drawers for storage and dressing mirror.
The mezzanine area is located above the kitchen / dining area and is accessed by a sturdy wooden ladder that is stored away when not in use. Again the mezzanine benefits form a double bed with quality bedding and a 4 drawer chest of drawers for additional storage.
The bathroom consists of shower cubicle, toilet, basin, mirror and cabinets and has a heated towel rail.

The apartment benefits from two balconies leading off the kitchen/dining area and also a smaller balcony leading out from the master bedroom. The balconies provide great views of Mont Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons and receive the sun from early afternoon through to evening.
The apartment has an allocated secure underground parking space and the apartment building also has further private parking available outdoors if required.
There is a secure cave in the basement of the building for storing ski equipment.
The rates quoted include exclusive use of the apartment, linen, towels and end of rental cleaning. The apartment is rented on a self-catered basis from Saturday to Saturday (although this may be flexible during low season periods). We request guests to arrive after 4pm so that the apartment can be fully prepared. On the day of departure we request guests to leave before 11am.
The rates do not include flights nor travel to and from Chamonix.
The apartment is strictly no smoking. No pets allowed.
The Rhône-Alpes region
The French Alps are a draw for winter sports enthusiast the world over. With dramatic mountain peaks and endless high altitude skiing opportunities the resorts of the French Alps attract scores of visitors every year for the winter season.
Probably the most famous of these resorts is Chamonix. Basking under the majestic Mont Blanc, Europe's highest peak at 4808 metres, Chamonix is the home of alpine sports and was host of the first ever Winter Olympics back in 1924.
Situated in the heart of the Alps, Chamonix Mont Blanc is a year round resort offering a wide range of outdoor activities; from skiing and snowboarding to hiking and biking, and much more. Chamonix is also a mecca for mountaineering and climbing.
With 90% of the ski area above 2000m, Chamonix has for many years attracted skiers looking for good snow and who also want to ski the famous Vallée Blanche or to tackle the extensive and challenging off-piste skiing.
The highest lift in the valley is the Aiguille De Midi cablecar which brings you to an incredible 3842 metres elevation. The top station of the Aiguille De Midi cablecar has a jaw-dropping panoramic view of Chamonix, the Mont Blanc, the Mer De Glace glacier, the surrounding area, and is the access point to the Vallée Blanche itinerary .
Additionally, Chamonix has five major ski stations with lift systems that operate most of the year, Les Grands Montets, Le Brévent, La Flégère, Le Tour, and Les Houches. There are also several smaller lower elevation ski stations as well, Les Planards, Le Savoy, Les Bossons, Les Pélerins, Les Chosalets, La Vormaine, and La Poya over in Vallorcine.
Set against truly spectacular scenery at the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc, the resort's setting is both unique and breathtaking. The full lift pass includes a day's skiing in magnificent Courmayeur, just a short drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel into Italy and is a treat not to be missed. The full Mont Blanc pass also covers a day in Verbier, Switzerland.
Chamonix is one of France's prettiest Alpine resorts, with an excellent range of sporting and leisure facilities, and unrivalled night-life. In short, a skiing holiday in Chamonix is one of the best all round options. Highly recommended.
Other winter sports include, ice-climbing, cross country skiing, and snow-shoeing. Chamonix maintains two cross-country ski trails, and there are many valley bottom trails that are covered in snow during the winter months.
During the summer season the lifts provide access for climbers, para-gliders, hikers, nature enthusiasts, canyoners, and mountain bikers.

"Great ski-ing, walking or golfing apartment"
Top ( 2nd ) floor, underground secure parking, Balconies, superb views. 3rd bedroom is in the loft, so not ideal for large fellas, but, great for kids!! Very comfortably furnished . Sat TV with English channels. All modern facilities that you would expect. Good bus services to skiing, but, better with car. Great, very friendly Hotel ( VERT ) a 100 yes down the road with good Bar, great atmosphere & above all excellent value food & service + ski hire etc. Location convenient for Chamonix Night Life as well.
