JardinMontBlancB is a newly renovated (2015) 2 bedroom apartment situated in the town centre of Chamonix - close to the shops, restaurants and apres ski bars/ cafes. The Savoy ski lift/ link to the Brevent is a stone's throw away and the superb swimming pool complex is a 3 minute walk away making it a fabulous winter and summer location. The residences' private gardens are well maintained and ideal for children to play in and the River Arve runs next to it adding to the beautiful and peaceful surroundings.The apartment is part of a traditional Alpine residence consisting of only 2 levels - this apartment is on the ground level. It comes with private parking. The whole apartment was renovated in Autumn 2015 to a very high contemporary styled specification. The living area has been tastefully furnished with wooden flooring, a comfortable sofa (that converts into a double bed) a flat screen TV, DVD and CD player plus dining table to seat six. It boasts a south facing view with a terrace linking to the private garden areas. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including conventional and microwave oven, halogen hob, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and washing machine plus plenty of modern crockery and cuisine equipment. Both bedrooms have twin beds and come with ample storage, hooks and shelves. There is one superb family bathroom plus a separate WC. The apartment also comes with a free wireless ADSL internet connection. Apartment JardinMontBlancA is directly above this apartment making larger groups possible.
Linen and tourist tax are the only extra costs not included in the price of your holiday. Linen is £16.5 per single bed and £33 per double bed (note not per person). It includes a full bed set, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel (2 per double bed), bath mat and tea towels. Please be aware that only single linen sets are provided for twin beds since they have single duvets. Tourist tax is €0.90 per night for all persons over 12 years. This is not charged by My French Chalet but is a tax imposed by the resort Mairie on all holidaymakers. However, paying this tax does entitle you to the Chamonix Carte d'Hote (guest card) which offers you free transport in the valley and other discounts around town. All beds come made up and end of stay clean is included in the price. A limited number of cots and high chairs available to hire at £25 each per holiday. You will also be required to provide a £400 security deposit in case of accidental damage to your accommodation.

Located within an hour's drive of Geneva airport, Chamonix Mont-Blanc is a spectacular French resort in both winter and summer - playground for all ages. The Chamonix Valley is made up of a number of small ski areas: Les Houches, Le Brevent/ La Flegere, Les Grands Montets and Le Tour/ Vallorcine - all offering varied terrain and spectacular views of the Mont Blanc Massif and the Aiguilles. Skiers and snow boarders will love it here, whether you are looking for nice long sunny groomed slopes, small forest trails or off-piste free riding and untracked glacial terrain. Experienced skiers will love the gnarly trails on the Argentiere Glacier or the legendary off-piste itinerary from the Aiguilles du Midi - the Vallee Blanche (be warned a mountain guide is necessary for these areas!). Intermediates can take their pick from the miles of blue or more challenging red runs that are available in all areas of the Chamonix valley and beginners have ample to do as well. The gentle green slopes on the valley floor give the perfect introduction to winter sports before progressing onto the higher terrain. If you fancy going further a field, then the Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass also enables you to ski in Courmayeur (Italy) and Verbier (Switzerland); both less than an hours drive from Chamonix (or a free bus ride in the case of Courmayeur!). Chamonix is a safe bet for early and late season skiers since 90% of the skiing is above 2000m. The highest area Les Grand Montets at 3300m offers exceptional skiing from December through to mid May. Wherever you choose to ski, there are unrivalled panoramas of the Mont Blanc massif that will take your breath away! In summer Chamonix opens up into a playground of alpine adventure - Climbing, hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, so many sports to do. Besides mountain adventure, there is a thriving cultural scene, amazing shops and boutiques, and a fabulous gastronomic offering - including 2 Michelin starred restaurants. The town itself has a charming pedestrianised centre, full of ambiance, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops - plenty to do when you come off the mountain. The smaller suburban villages of Argentiere, Montroc and Les Houches, also offer great access to the mountain trail in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. Access to Chamonix is so simple with it being less than an hours drive from Geneva airport, making long weekends and short breaks very easy - from Geneva either hire a car or we can book you an airport transfer. Chamonix has skiing for absolutely everybody but groups and families with non-skiers in their party will also love the range of alternate activities available. Whatever you decide to do, you can be sure that the views will be stunning and the food/ wine will taste great!
Chamonix Town Centre
Chamonix, situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, is undoubtedly the alpine capital of the world. From December to May mountain lovers flock to Chamonix since it boasts something for skiers and boarders of all abilities, with a chance to enjoy very long runs, tree-lined routes, free riding, beginner slopes and epic off-piste with awe-inspiring scenery and some of the world's steepest and most challenging descents. From June to September, Chamonix becomes the mecca centre for climbing, mountaineering, biking and hiking. Chamonix is a large town, so night owls will also love it here, as there are plenty of buzzing bars continuing late into the night with live bands. Or escape from the party scene in one of the regions excellent cafes and restaurants. There are also plenty of day-time attractions, such as markets, shops and hockey matches, to entertain those who fancy a day off the slopes. Where ever you are your breath will always be taken away by the dramatic scenery when you look up. If you want to venture further afield it is easy to take day trips to neighbouring resorts in Italy and Switzerland, just on the other side of the mountains. Chamonix is the perfect place for weekend breaks, a weeks holiday, a season, or a lifetime, as you will never run out of things to do or tire of the views.
