The apartment is 45sqm plus a generous balcony of over 10sqm spanning the width of the apartment and accessible from both lounge and bedroom, with spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles rouges mountain ranges There is a large double bedroom with king size bed and huge window overlooking Mont Blanc. The bedroom benefits from a brand new ensuite shower room with a fantastic walk in shower and a sink vanity unit with built in storage. There is also plenty of storage space thanks to the full height built in wardrobe. A flat screen TV is also available in the master bedroom.

Bedroom two is ideal for children as well as couples, as there is a double bed plus an overhead bunk so the room can easily sleep three thanks to the lovely high ceilings. The second bedroom has plenty of storage with a wardrobe and offers the flexibility of either a double bed or sofa, an ideal room for kids (or adults) to chill out in. Next door is the brand new family bathroom with bath and shower, with a wall hung WC and vanity unit.

The lounge has seating for 7 including a double sofa bed incorporated in the luxurious corner sofa unit as well as a dining table to seat 7. One of the best features of the apartment is the glorious vista of the mountains from the floor to ceiling windows (which have shutters for the evening) from where you can access the large private balcony and view Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles mountain ranges.

The apartment also has a brand new modern, fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons including a dishwasher, fridge, oven and hob plus there is a very useful washer dryer in the apartment to save trips to the launderette! The apartment can sleep 5 comfortably in the two bedrooms or 7 if two guests make use of the sofa bed in the lounge. The apartment also has free high speed wifi.

A lift serves the lobby to the apartment (which is situated on the first floor) and also the ski lockers in the basement of the building. The apartment boasts spacious proportions and high ceilings. There is plenty of room on the balcony to sit out to enjoy breakfast, coffee or maybe even a glass of wine or beer after an exhilarating day in the mountains.

The residence du brevent building is located ideally. It is incredibly close to the brevent main lift, which access the fantastic Brevent/Flegere linked ski area (and walking trails up Brevent in the summer).... so there is no need to struggle with skis on ski buses and walk up the hill in the morning from the town centre. The apartment is just a 2 minute walk to the nearest cafe/restaurant, and 5 minutes to the nearest boulangerie for your morning croissants. The nearest supermarket is also around a 5 minute walk - there is a super u in chamonix town centre as well as a casino supermarket, in addition to a multitude of shops catering for all tastes: from clothes, shoe, ski and mountain gear shops etc as well as numerous cafes and restaurants. The brevent residence is also tranquil, in spite of its central position, and enjoys lovely communal gardens.

Chamonix is a wonderful mountain town, with plenty to see and do throughout the whole year. From skiing in the winter, to mountain biking and hiking in the summer. Some of the best off piste in the world can be found in chamonix, and the summer months also boast excellent walking on the many mountain trails, as well as only a 10 minute drive to crystal clear lakes (at Passy) with their own beaches. White water rafting, horseriding, mountain biking, trekking are just a few of the summer activities in this glorious setting. The spectacular gorges also offer wonderful walks and magnificent views, and are just a short drive away.

Chamonix has a wealth of activities to offer and is positioned uniquely in the alps, close to the border offering the possibility of easy day trips into Italy.

For the active in winter there are fewer ski resorts offering the range of Chamonix, with easy blues through to the most challenging blacks and world class off piste. Chamonix is a year round resort and offers so much more in addition. The summer months are beautiful in Chamonix and offer up a range of options for the adventurous: trail running, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, gorge exploration, pot holing, sailing and swimming in the nearby lakes.

For the gourmands, Chamonix also boasts michelin starred restaurants, as well as charming bistros and cafes. Chamonix is a proper working town unlike many ski resorts so has much to offer: the cinema, a huge sporting complex featuring tennis/squash courts and a swimming pool with slides, a casino and nightclubs, charming old market full of gastronomic wonders, traditional old town centre and square. It is a wonderful place to relax and take in the mountain air, in addition or instead of alpine adventures.

“Great Location, Modern Feel”

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a 3-day weekend this past January. Modern, well furnished. Great central location, right next to the Brevant lift, amazing views of Mont Blanc and just a 2-minute quick walk down into town. Perfect spot for a long weekend for two or small family.

We spent 3 nights in this flat and we loved it ! The location is great: a few minutes walk towards the center of town and the Brevent lift, opening at your door-step the Brevent/Flegere ski area. The flat, which has been refurbished recently with a great modern touch, offers some of the best views you will ever get in Chamonix. The mountain is basically smiling at you from morning to evening. There is a great balcony allowing you to enjoy fully the power of the impressive Chamonix landscape. Central Chamonix accommodation, right next to the ski lift and the center of town, with a fantastic view: It ticked all the boxes for us.

We travelled to Chamonix outside of the main ski season and were delighted by all this wonderful town has to offer in summer as well as the location and amenities at this lovely apartment. It is right by the main Brevent lift and just a short walk into the main town centre, which is actually quite difficult to find from accommodation in Chamonix. There is a good bus network so its not really that necessary to have a car although I can see it can be handy. The walking is great around the brevent lift and there is so much to see and do it is impossible to list. We had a fantastic time in the apartment and would not hesitate to book again. I would thoroughly recommend a bottle of rosé on the balcony with a panoramic view of Mont Blanc!
