In addition to the vision and orientation, this 1st floor apartment with lift, without opposite, is ideally located in the heart of Chamonix in the residence Lyret 1:

The bus stop (free with the host card given to you) leading to different ski resorts, is in front of the tourist train station Montenvers within 300 m of the residence. It also has a bus stop for the town center in front of the residence. The main pedestrian streets are an easy walk less than 300 m. The Aiguille du Midi and the train Montenvers are 5 minutes walk also less than 300 m.

- It has a brand new kitchen (combi microwave, dishwasher, induction hob and extractor, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, raclette, fondue, Lagostina cookware, porcelain dishes of Bavaria ...), a table that seats 6 people comfortably

- A relaxation area with sofa and a large flat screen TV, DVD player.

- You have to disposition a WIFI connection.

- Each room has a window or bay-window with view on residences around, the garden, Mont Blanc and Brevent's summit.

- The master bedroom is equipped with a bed of 150 cm x 200 cm and a renovated savoyarde wardrobe with hanging space and storage space. It has en-suite bright bathroom, open to the bedroom and has a bay window open on a large balcony.

- The second bedroom has 1 bunk beds, suitable for 2 children but 2 adults can sleep (90 cm x 190 cm) a small wardrobe and a window

- 2 bathrooms: One is private in the master bedroom, the second is in the corridor of the bedrooms. The toilets are separated. The both bathrooms offer a spacious walk-in shower and a heated towel rail in the second one.

- The apartment is accessible by elevator, also provides access to one private garage in underground parking. You also have an access right, to the 2 outside parking reserved to the residence, according to availabilities.

Chamonix offers a multitude of slopes for all levels, each ski area having its own merit. Tremendously long slopes, skiing through the trees, freeride and off-piste, beginners slopes : an infinite number of possibilities for snowriders and mountain lovers alike.

The Grands Montets (1235 m - 3300 m)

Situated between the altitudes of 1235 m. and 3300 m., the Grands Montets area enables you to ski the greatest height losses in the world in the heart of the mountains, close to a glacier.

Timetables Winter 2014/2015 (forecast) : From 6 December 2014 to 19 December 2014 partial opening snow conditions apply (note access by cable Argentière-Lognan only).

From 20 December 2014 to April 27 2015 the full opening.

From April 27 to May 3, 2015: partial opening snow conditions apply.

- The Ski resort from Brévent is a 10 minute bus away, the Aiguilles' du Midi cable car for the world famous Valley Blanche is few minute walk. The Mont Blanc tunnel gives access to Italy in less than 25 minutes - Courmayeur, the Aosta valley and fantastic Italian food ! The very nice "Les Gaillands lake" and climbing crag are under ten minutes bus. Swimming pool is 5 minutes bus.

There are some very good and famous restaurants within easy walking distance.

The "Mulet" free shuttle for all centre town spot has a bus stop in front of the Lyret1 and train station is a 5 minute walk for travel within the valley. Chamonix town hyper centre is a 5 minute walk. The apartment is well connected enough so that you don't need a car.

Geneva airport is a 55 minute drive, making it easily accessible for short as well as longer stays. Change-over days are flexible. Short stay minimum 4 nights

- Discount 30 % on ski rentals (you organize by yourself the rental, I give you all information)

- Discount 10 % on SPA in 2 luxury Hotel 4* with an outside heated swimming pool even in winter.

- Host cards, offered by the owner, give you the gratuity of the ski bus and trains for all ski resorts of the valley.

The rental rates include:

- Cleaning products (1 roll of toilet paper)

- Departure cleaning

- Bed linen and towels

- Internet (Wi-Fi)

- 1 parking place in the underground garage.

Rates do not include:

- Tourist tax: 1 € per night / person over 18 years

- The early morning or late arrivals (price on request to my representatives). But you have the free Possibility to find or to let the Keys in the mail box.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region

Despite its reputation for steep runs and extreme off-piste terrain, the Chamonix Valley has 155kms of piste with runs catering for all abilities. Beginners are well catered for at Le Tour or Les Houches, with much more gentle skiing in comparison to the other areas so it is probably the best area for less confident skiers. Intermediate skiers can enjoy the long cruising high altitude blue and red runs of La Flegere (now linked by gondola to Brevent) and les Grands Montets. Lifts to two of the areas are within walking distance on either side of the centre of Chamonix, all the others are linked by an efficient bus service included in the cost of a lift pass.

Chamonix Town Centre

Chamonix is also home to the Vallee Blanche, probably the most famous off-piste run down over the glaciers that descend from the Mont Blanc.

The streets of the old town are a mix of old world elegance with French charm and the cobbled pedestrian centre, with a river that runs through it, is compact and easily accessible. The town is busy and has lively nightlife with shops selling everything from ski gear to high end jewellery and watches. It is home to an excellent array of restaurants, bars and late night bars/clubs to guarantee the excitement is not just confined to the slopes. For those looking for a more relaxing apres scene there is a cinema, a bowling alley, an ice rink and a large sports centre with an indoor pool.
