Welcome to "Les Pieces Du Moulin"

Set in the idyllic hamlet of Bazac, on the Charente/Dordogne border, our spacious Self Catering Villa, set within enclosed gardens, is south facing with a Private Solar Heated Pool. We are 5 km from the local market town of Chalais.

Equipped to cater for all your family needs, our location is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday in the glorious French countryside.

Our home sleeps a maximum of 8 people plus cot and high chair (provided.) There are 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sun terraces, a private solar heated pool, large garden and carport for off road parking.

Our Villa consists of a large living and dining area, with massive oak beams. Ideal for relaxation after a hard days sightseeing. The tiled floor and 4 sets of French doors with shutters ensure this attractive main part of the house is kept cool in the height of the summer and warm in the chill of winter.

The fully fitted kitchen with built in dishwasher, ceramic hob and extractor hood leads into the attractive open plan lounge which in turn opens out to the sun terraces, BBQ area and swimming pool. There is ample cupboard and storage space with the following items-

Pots, pans, dishes, utensils, crockery,cutlery, glasses.

The Utility Room can be accessed through the kitchen and comprises of -

Washing Machine

Fridge/ Freezer

Hoover, sweeping brushes, iron & ironing board, laundry basket & pegs, clothes drier, mop & bucket, cleaning utensils and sink with draining board

3 bedrooms are situated on the ground floor. 2 Double Rooms have full height fitted wardrobes. The 3rd is a Twin Room with 2 single beds. All 3 Bedrooms give direct access to the surrounding terraces and garden.

There is a large family bathroom with a luxurious corner bath and overhead shower, and twin washbasins set within an attractive modern vanity unit. It is fully tiled with recessed ceiling down lighters and electric shaving point. The wc on the ground floor is situated separately alongside.

A feature oak staircase leads to a mezzanine with additional relaxation area and office space.

Situated on the first floor the spacious Ensuite Master Bedroom benefits from a Juliet Balcony which overlooks the garden and has views towards Bazac. A king sized bed provides comfortable sleeping accommodation and the en suite bathroom incorporates a shower, wc and vanity unit with sink.

The cream decor keeps the room light and airy which compliments the oak beams and furniture, which mirrors a theme that runs throughout the house.

The property also has English TV and WIFI.

What could be better, after a hard days sightseeing, than relaxing in the early evening warmth, sipping a glass of cool rose wine, as you dine "al fresco".

Interaction with guest

We always like to personally meet our guests so we can welcome you all to the property, show you around, hand over the key and answer any questions you may have. As we do not live on site ( the property, pool and gardens are exclusively private to you) we stay nearby and can be contacted on either UK or French mobiles. We are available at any (reasonable!) time if you need us during your stay. We do call at the property to regularly clean the pool but we try to be discreet and not disrupt your stay. There is a "Places of Interest" booklet which contains detailed information about popular places to visit during your stay. There are also numerous leaflets and booklets with maps covering th area which you will find very useful.
