Lovely little cottage perfectly located and only minutes from the historic quarter of York. Part of a quiet courtyard with free private parking.

The house is very cosy and ideal for short breaks. It consists of a good sized lounge with 1 sofa bed, a main bedroom with 1 large double bed and plenty of storage space, a small furnished second room with a single bed, a bathroom with bath and shower and a kitchen with everything you need.

Situated in the heart of the city and just a few minutes walk from York train station, Theatre Royal, the art gallery, museums, York Minster, Bettys tea rooms, the Yorvik Centre, The Shambles, city walls, riverside walks and plenty of interesting shops, bars and deli's makes it a perfect home for your stay in York.

Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and fresh milk are provided so you can have a cuppa after your long journey!

Additional occupancy for more than 2 people is £10 per person per night.

1 car parking space is provided free of charge.

Additional car parking is priced at £10.00 per night subject to availability.

This place is a truly special place. Fully equipped with everything you could ever need for your stay. Top quality items throughout. Lovely bedding, towels and toiletries. Fab shower and loads of hot water. Great welcome pack provided which made us feel very special. The photos don't reflect how big, yet cosy, the rooms are. We felt comfortable the minute we walked through the door. Really close to York Minster ( 2 mins stroll) and loads of eating places close by. We chose to eat in the two nights we were there and found the kitchen fully equipped to cook a very decent meal. Dylan is a joy to deal with and made us feel so welcome. We hope to return later in the year and would recommend this cottage to anyone. 5 stars stay.

This cottage is a hidden gem. Right in the centre of York, with plenty of living space with everything you could possibly need....and more! We were in York for our daughter's wedding and wanted somewhere nicer than just a hotel room for her to go from and Miller's Cottage was just perfect! Dylan and his Daughter Cherie could not have done anymore to ensure our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again . Thank you once again.

Miller's Cottage was an enjoyable 2 night stay. Located only a few minutes from the Minster, the location is perfect. It is located in it's own 'cul-de-sac' style yard/parking which gives it a private contained atmosphere - something rare with city centre locations. The cottage itself is clean, modern with good amenities . The owner, Dylan, is friendly and informative and offers assistance at any time if requited. I'd definitely recommend Millers Cottage to family and friends and would be my first option on returning to York.

Just got home after a weekend stay in Millers Cottage, York. Arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning. There were four of us - My wife & I, our 19 month old daughter and my mother-in-law. We went to a wedding on the Saturday while my mother-in-law looked after our daughter for us. For this reason, we really needed to rent a house in a good location and this was absolutely perfect. Two minutes walk to the York Minster and everything else that York city centre has to offer. Set back off the main road in a courtyard, there was room to park our car right outside the front door which made it easy. The house is lovely and old and set over two floors with the lounge & kitchen on the ground floor and the two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. One of the many nice touches was a vase of fresh flowers on the table. The owner Dylan had put a few things in the kitchen for us when we arrived, tea, coffee, milk, orange juice and even a cake! He met us when we arrived to give us the keys and made a few local recommendations to my mother-in-law of toddler friendly places to visit. All in all, a very pleasant stay and hopefully we'll have the opportunity to stay again. Extremely reasonably priced bearing in mind the perfect location. We'd thoroughly recommend it to our friends.

“Excellent cottage in the heart of York”

The cottage is excellent - fully equipped and right in the centre of York so everything is just a short walk away. The manager, Dylan, was very friendly and helpful and gave us useful advice on places to visit and good restaurants. We were sad to only be staying for two nights and would certainly want to stay here if we came back to York.
