“We enjoyed staying in this property.”

Reviewed 3 Dec 2016

This is a comfortable, cosy and convenient home for a stay in York. It was easy to drive into York and park within the secure courtyard. The adjacent space makes it convenient to unload the car.We found the seating and beds very restful ........ important as one gets older! Plenty of hot water and the heating is efficient. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The area seemed fairly quiet, just a few people walking past later at night ... we stayed midweek. The owner is very helpful and responded rapidly to my queries.

“Brilliant as always”

Reviewed 18 Oct 2016

This was our second stay at this beautiful townhouse, the townhouse is super clean and spacious enough for us as we're a family of 5. The townhouse is central to all that York central has to offer. Trudi is so helpful and professional as always, were looking forward to our stay next year.

“Great property, fab location”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2016

This lovely townhouse is in a fantastic central location within walking distance of all the attractions of York. Situated in a nice quiet street quite close to the train station. The property has everything you could possibly need and is very well kitted out. We really appreciated the early entry on our arrival and the second set of keys. Would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent accommodation and very central”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2016

There was everything you need in the accommodation was also very clean and spacious. The location is excellent was really nice to be able to park the car and walk everywhere. Trudi was very helpful and prompt with the booking and replying to any questions I had . I hopefully will be returning next year with the family.

“Just perfect!”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

We were so happy to have this house as our base. It's central, everything is in walking distance and that was ideal for us and our 4 kids. Trudi was always prompt responding to any queries, a pleasure to deal with. No WiFi was a bit of a shame but a minor issue.

“A Really Lovely Place to Stay in York!”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2016

Very comfortable apartment and really well equipped. Very clean and tidy. Owner Trudi was very accommodating and helpful, all the touristy places are walking distance from the house. Would stay here again for sure! (Maybe adding free wifi will complete it!)

“fun for all the family”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2013

An excellent house well fitted for all the family, located in a queit location but central enough to be convenient for all York has to offer also close to transport links(rail&bus)for travel to the wide ranging coutryside.

“Excellent house in an excellent location”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2013

This is a lovely house just 5 minutes from everything York has to offer. it is quiet and offers every amenity you could need. My wife and 3 kids stayed here and tumbled out of the door every morning to walk around the sights of York. There is no need to use your car when here at all. The owner is very helpful. For a city centre stay this was perfect.

“Marvellous property convenient to central York .”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2013

The property was spotless and well equipped. Trudi has thought of everything! The welcome pack was ideal- milk OJ water and wine! The house is situated in a quiet area but within 10 mins you are in the hustle and bustle of York and all the glorious sights.

“Affordable option for family holiday”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2013

The townhouse was clean and well kept, and the bonus 1/2 bath downstairs was great for my family of four. Having just arrived in the UK from the US, it was nice to have the third bedroom so the kids could have some space. The townhouse is centrally located, a short walk to most major attractions and lots of food options within 10 minutes. Trudi was pleasant to work with during the booking process, and when we had a small issue while we were there, she was prompt to return my call. My only criticism would be that wifi would have been greatly appreciated as it was difficult to do some of the travel planning once we were there without it. We had to find a Starbucks in the city center to log onto the internet from, and its internet was slow and weak. But if wifi isn't a big deal to you, its a great sized place comparatively for a really great price, and I think you will not be disappointed!
