The apartment had two bedrooms, the Master bedroom has King size bed with quality bedding, En-suite with underfloor heating and power shower. The house bathroom has both bath and shower.

The second bedroom has Twin beds with floor to ceiling windows looking directly onto the River. The well equipped kitchen has all you need with dish washer, microwave, halogen hob, fan oven and Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine, Washing machine with integrated dryer.

“Excellent stay”

Lovely clean modern flat. We stayed for three nights. Two separate bedrooms, one double room en suite and one bedroom with twin beds plus separate bathroom with shower. Beds very comfortable and the flat overlooks the River Ouse. Just 10 minutes walk into town Centre.

This was a perfect place to stay for visiting York. situated on the main river, a few minute walk into the main town and attractions but still very quiet, except some noisy geese one morning. The apartment has 2 balconies to while away a few hours sitting by the river. Was fully equipped with anything we needed. Warm and cosy. The underground carpark is ideal but don't take a very large car. Easy to book, sean promptly met us at the property when we arrived and showed us around.

This was our second stay at 44 Emperors Wharf and we can't wait for next year. Excellent apartment in a brilliant location. Great views from the balcony and very comfortable beds. Secure car parking is a bonus in York. So happy we found this little gem in the heart of York. Thank you Chris and Sean. Already looking forward to our week in 2017.

We stayed here two nights and of the 3 places we rented on our trip to Europe this was my favorite. Great view, location and flat. No problems at all. Would definitely stay here again and hope to again on another trip to York! Our teenage boys loved it because it was close to things and safe enough for them to venture out on their own.

Stayed for two nights in January to celebrate my wifes birthday.Arrived by train which is a short(10-15 mins) walk from the appartment, arrived before 12 noon, a quick call to Sean (the cleaner) and he met us at the appartment so we could drop our bags off,we were so grateful for this, we were then free to wander around York, Sean later phoned to let us know the appartment was ready for us.Our daughter and partner arrived later by car, so the secure parking was a real bonus with a lift running from the car park upto the appartment. The appartment is perfect for a short or longer stay with everything you need.we enjoyed the use of the balcony even in the freezing temps,with views of cliffords tower to the right and the minster to the left. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, the king size bed especially so,the on-suite has a super shower and the under floor heating is great. The appartment is in a perfect location, a five minute walk brings you into the heart of York and all it has to offer. We would like to give a special thanks to Sean who put hiself out in difficult circumstances..

44 Emperors Wharf is situated overlooking the river Ouse slap-bang in the centre of busy York. The apartment is on the third floor and has a wonderful view of the river and city. A five minute walk into the city centre and all it has to offer. The two bedroom flat was spotlessly clean thanks to Sean (the cleaner). Ample room for a small family or just a couple. The main bedroom has an en-suite and plenty of storage space. The large bed (small King) very comfortable. The second bedroom has twin beds and is quite small but adequate. A full galley kitchen with everything you could possibly want to self cater and also includes a washer dryer. We stayed for two weeks and found the kitchen perfect apart from the small fridge. The large pantry cupboard with very little in would have been the ideal place to put a good size fridge/ freezer. The lounge overlooks the river and has a very comfortable leather suite and small dining table and chairs. Two balconies, one covered with outside table and chairs, lead off the lounge. Unfortunately, the weather was abysmal and we had little chance to use them. The one Parking slot is in the secure basement area with a lift straight up to the flat. Beware! The turn into the car park through a heavy electric gate is very tight and there are several marks on the walls to prove others found it difficult. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return in a flash.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment overlooking the river in September, views fantastic and the sound of bells and birds on a Sunday morning good for the soul. This apartment has everything you need and is within walking distance of all the wonderful restaurants and bars York has to offer. Very clean and comfortable would recommend highly.

whilst looking for a holiday let i stumbled upon Emperors Wharf!! And it was a real Find!! located in the center of town close to all local attractions this Luxury Appartment over looking the river Ouse is amazing beautifully furnished with everything you need for a cosy break leather sofas flat screen tv and i-pod sound system 2 balconys overlooking the river with good views of the town. 1 on suit double room and a twin room with seperate bathroom , well appointed kitchen . really is i must stay better than any hotel !!

Stayed for four days at beginning of Sept. Our sat nav let us down when we arrived so after a phone call to Chris the owner, he met us within ten mins and we were able to follow him to the right place. He showed us around the appartment and told us how to work everything. He then recommended places to see and suggested a nice place to eat. The property was lovely, really clean and it was nice to sit on the balcony to have breakfast or a nice drink in the evening. Being in the middle of everything was great and within easy walking distance, which meant you could leave the car (in the secure parking which came with the property) and not worry about traffic or driving which added to the relaxing time we had. I could not fault this appartment at all and would recommend it to anyone as a great handy holiday place to stay. York itself was worth the visit too although I can't comment on the nightlife as we are not night owls or party animals. Which reminds me it was also a lovely quiet place to stay.
