Located within a few minutes walk of York's riverside attractions and the city centre, with its own secure allocated parking space, the apartment is the perfect location for your visit to the many and varied attractions of York. Set in a quiet development ideal for relaxation whilst offering quick access to restaurants, cafes, shops and the many attractions that York is famous for.

The apartment is on the second floor, served by a spacious lift and a stairway. There is one modern, double bedroom with ceiling to floor windows overlooking the balcony and communal gardens, giving a lovely, bright and airy yet cosy feel. The bedroom has a large wardrobe with drawer space. There is a family bathroom with shower and bath facilities. The lounge area is light and airy and has French doors leading to a balcony with seating that overlooks the beautifully kept, communal gardens. There is comfortable seating for 2 adults and a 40 inch flat screen TV, along with a DVD player, a selection of DVDs and books. There is also free a free, high speed, wifi internet connection and an iPod dock.

The newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances and includes a dining area with seating for 2.

Apartment is ideally situated in the middle of York just across the river from several bars and restaurants and the mooring for picking up sightseeing boats. Very clean and comfortable.

We travelled to Whitby where we had a lovely homecooked lunch right by the harbour. Also visited Harlow Carr gardens and Breezy News gardens.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Karen (the owner) a message.

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
