36 County House is a beautifully located self catering flat in York offering very comfortable accommodation for six people less than 10 minutes walk from York's medieval centre and its historic Minster. York Railway Station is a 15 minute level walk and York's popular Racecourse is an 10 easy drive away.

This spacious York holiday flat forms part of York's old County Hospital, an elegant Georgian building with many original features, particularly to the exterior.

The bright and airy living kitchen has a lovely mix of vintage and modern furniture, with a large dining table for the whole family or travelling group to get around. There is a king sized bedroom on the ground level, with ensuite shower room, perfect for the less mobile. Upstairs there is a cosy bedroom with full sized bunk beds, as well as a further king sized bedroom and a seperate dressing room (both mezzanine over the living area).

36 County House has been finished throughout with high quality fabrics and finishes for the enjoyment of all our guests. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot have pets or smoking. Children of all ages are most welcome, of course, with cots, high chairs and some toys books and DVDs provided. This property is next to a large modern supermarket, making it ideal to stock up on your requirements for your stay without the need to drag shopping bags across the city. The apartment also has a private car parking space behind a remotely triggered gate. In most cases hoever, youi'll want to park your car and make the most of York on foot or on two. Its the perfect city for wandering at leisure.
