Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside.
From the old town of Whitby, 199 steps lead up to the parish church of St. Mary, whose churchyard on Whitby's East Cliff gave Bram Stoker the inspiration to write his world famous book, Dracula
Whitby is situated on the Yorkshire Coast. To the south lies the coastal villages and resorts of Ravenscar, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. All these are well within a short drive from Whitby.

"very comfortable:spotlessly clean and in middle of whitby."
this apartment is in an excellant location for exploring/ the coastline.Plenty of beautiful walking from the apartment or using local bus service and whitby itself is a pleasure to wander around. the appartment has a very well equipped kitchen for self catering . plenty of nearby places to eat as well and just around the corner the most wonderful fish and chip shop.I went in January but the appartment has a very efficient heating system and so was very comfortable even though it was a cold time of year....

"Great location. Clean and modern."
The apartment had all the facilities required, well equipped for self catering. Clean, modern, and furnishings in good condition. Great location for town centre, good cosy, local pub across road and other restaurants and chip shop!! We were lucky with the weather for November and it was a nice time to visit as Whitby itself wasn't as busy as in the summer months.

"Good central location"
Excellent location near town centre and beach Facilities in apartment good. Very good pub grub across the road Parking near apartment not easy but parking space in Whitby at a premium
Parking is limited to 40 mins directly outside the apartment which is handy for uploading but free unlimited onstreet parking is available within 300 meters.

"Home from home"
Exellent accomodation, furnished to a very high standard throughout. Centrally located in the town of Whitby with all amenities close to hand. With the North Yorks Moors National Park, coastal walks and villages all close by, this makes an ideal base for either a short break or longer stay to discover this part of England. Highly recommended

"A lovely apartment in a perfect spot, had everything we needed-Fab"
Very easy to book, lovely owners couldnt be more helpful. Situated perfectly to access everwhere we wanted to go from pubs, restaurants, railway station, bus station, harbour , old town and beach. Also lots of good walking closeby (car bus or rail journey away). Comfortable apartment slept our party of 4 very easily. Modern bath/toilet facility and large well equipped kitchen. Will definately be going again.

"Lovely appartment and great location"
This appartment is lovely and very handy for all amenities. There are several restaurants and pubs close by; also excellent fish and chips within two minutes walk. Whilst being very conveniently situated, the appartment is also totally private and quiet; it is a very restful place. The owners went the extra mile to ensure our stay was excellent. The appartment is immaculately clean, modern, very well equipped. We would certainly recommend this appartment.
