Imagine a studio full of light, the soothing sound of flowing water, the murmured chatting of university students, the majesty of a baroque church in the first sunbeams, an old lady selling fruits at the corner of the street...

This is what you can expect by renting AnnaLuna apartment, located in the sestriere (the venetian word for district) Dorsoduro. I bought this apartment in 2014 and I have completely renovated it according to my personal taste, trying to convey a sense of intimacy and ease. AnnaLuna is a raised ground floor apartment, so you will not be troubled with 'acqua alta', the high tide.

At the same time, you can enjoy a spectacular view on the adjacent canal and bridge from both the bedroom and the living room (equipped with a comfortable double sofa bed). A smaller parlour, with sofa and armchair, makes the perfect reading room, where you can listen to music and have a cup of tea. Being a self-catering accommodation, AnnaLuna has a well-equipped and brand new kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, but do not forget that, just a few meters away, you can find some excellent restaurants and 'bacari' (venetian bars, serving wine and traditional tasty finger food).

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Anna (the owner) a message.

    If Anna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
