In this luxurious 80 square meters flat, you can enjoy all the comforts of contemporary urban living, yet within the charm of a historic Parisian neighbourhood.
As you enter the apartment, you'll no doubt be impressed by its brightness and strikingly contemporary style, with stylish parquet floor, beautiful designer furniture and all modern comforts.(telephone with free calls, WiFi, flat-screen TV etc.)
The living room has two spacious sofas to relax, and a wooden dining table easily seating 4-6 guests. It gives access to a wide balcony where you can sip a glass of wine or enjoy your dinner, overlooking the roofs of Paris and the Arsenal visitors' harbour.
On the other side of the apartment, from the kitchen and the bedroom, you can appreciate the views over a quiet garden, allowing you even to easily sleep with your windows open, despite being in the centre of Paris.
Your bedroom has a luxurious double bed with electronic controls for the back rest and lumbar support, for your maximum comfort and relaxation, as well as cooling air-conditoning in the summer months.
In the study that can be separated from the living room by a sliding door at night, there is a sofa that can be quickly converted into another comfortable bed for two persons.
Indulge in the luxury of its designer bathroom with a walk-in shower and a toilet. There is also a separate guest WC, with a washing/drying machine.
Spacious walk-in closet allows you to conveniently store your suitcases, shoes, etc., as well as for hanging your clothes.
During your stay, you can of course cook and entertain your friends like a Parisian master chef in a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the preparation and serving utensils you may need, including fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic cooking plate, microwave and dishwasher.
Within a few minutes' walk, you can find a selection of supermarkets, but you should definitely not miss a true colorful Parisian market, either at the nearby Place d'Aligre or at Boulevard Richard Lenoir, with the freshest produce around: vegetables, fruit, seafood, poultry and meat, and of course, French baguettes.
Within five minutes' walk from the apartment, you'll also have access to the métro at the Bastille square that once was the stage of the French revolution. It today houses the Paris Opera, and in the surrounding streets you can find an endless choice of cafés, bars, and restaurants. Just a couple of blocks further, you'll be at the most beautiful square of Paris, la Place des Vosges, from early 17th century, and next to it, the charming Hôtel de Sully. This is where the Marais starts, nowadays one of the trendiest districts in Paris, full of original fashion boutiques, art galleries, and of course, restaurants and bars.
Ideal apartment for one or two couples who appreciate the elegant comfort of a modern design apartment in central Paris. Well maintained and quiet residential building. Not suitable for families with very young children, due to many fragile glass surfaces and sharp edges of the furnishings.
Please note that air-conditioning available only in master bedroom. However, windows can be kept on both ends of the apartment, giving a pleasant breeze even at night.
On your arrival, you'll be greeted by an English-speaking person who can explain you, how everything works in the apartment. A detailed House Manual gives you further instructions on all appliances, as well as nearby shopping and my favourite restaurants.
A local mobile phone can be rented for your convenience during your stay.

The Ile-de-France region
There are thousands of different reasons for spending your holidays in Paris, depending on each and everyone’s tastes & preferences. This is because Paris simply has so much to offer.
No matter if you’re visiting Paris for the first time, or coming here every year, you can’t help but being impressed by the beauty of its historic monuments, such as the Bastille, Place des Vosges, or the Louvre, plus hundreds more, all within easy reach. You can visit them conveniently by hopping in one of the many sightseeing buses at the Bastille, or do it more leisurely, by sitting comfortably in one of the river boats on the Seine, and let the sights just float by.
You can hardly talk about a visit to Paris, without talking about the French cuisine, just waiting for you to try, in a variety of restaurants, or right at your doorsteps at the local market, where you can buy the freshest products, many of them organically grown. Thanks to the cosmopolitan nature of Central Paris, you can easily find a restaurant to fit every taste of the world.
Paris is of course the city for lovers, and you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to locate your personal romantic hideaway in one of the city’s squares, along the Seine, or perhaps at the nearby Port de l’Arsenal just at your doorstep.
We chose this flat location because of its easy access to the most pleasant areas in Paris, yet allowing all the modern comforts of contemporary urban living, something that one appreciates after having lived previously in a historical building.
Although most visitors initially head to Le Marais for its historic attractions, don’t be surprised if you end up spending more time visiting its art galleries and trendy fashion boutiques.
As everywhere in Paris, you shouldn’t miss the Parisians’ most favourite pastime: people-watching on a terrace of a café, while sipping your café crème, or perhaps a glass of wine.
You’ll be amazed by all the different styles you see going by, until you’ll probably adopt your very own Parisian style, as well.
Having walked through the Marais, you’ll reach the famous Centre Pompidou Art Museum. Its striking architecture still continues to appal many, but inside, you’ll find one of world’s most impressive collections of contemporary arts. If you’re into more traditional art, be sure not to miss the Musée d’Orsay for its impressionists, and of course the Louvre with its magnificent masterpieces. Both of these, as well as many other sites (e.g. Eiffel Tower) are easily accessible by bus 69, with a stop right at the exit of the apartment.
If you’re an opera fan, you should definitely visit the Paris Opéra at the Place de la Bastille, next to the apartment. Tickets can easily be purchased on-line, but be early!
When you just want to relax and forget all about the bustle of the big city, just go down to the Arsenal Visitors’ Harbour, at two minutes’ from the flat. Here you’ll find a totally different Paris where time has stopped and you can just sit down and let time float by.

"Awesome apartment in the best City in the world"
Two bedrooms, full bath and an extra half bath in a large fully equipped apartment in Paris. We thought we were dreaming. Located in a residential neighborhood meant that you could get a good night's sleep and still walk to many major sites. The owner is very responsive to your inquiries and very attentive to your needs. You'll have to sign up way ahead of time for this rental.
Glad you liked your stay with us in Paris. Hope to see you back soon again, but as you suggested, it's best let me know well ahead!

"fantastic flat, perfect location, couldnt ask for anything more"
The flat was decorated and furnished to the highest standard. the booking process was simple and we were met by the house manager who was also very helpful. If you want to see Paris by foot then you could not pick a better location with most of the tourist attractions within easy walking distance. Local restaurants were in abundance and Le Train Bleu is exceptional. We had a great and would highly recommend ths property.
Glad you enjoyed our restaurant recommendations! By the time you come back next time, I'll try to find some new recommendations for you.

This wonderful property was exactly as advertised. A modern apartment with everything you could possibly need provided (and then some). Obviously much loved and cared for by the owners. Close to Metro, main train line, and loads of wonderful cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and found the area safe, even when returning home sometimes late at night. It is not in the heart of the main tourist areas which makes it feel more like you are a local, but just a 20 minute stroll over one of the many bridges and you can be in the Notre Dame District. So much to see, so much to do, so little time.
We're so happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. Rest assured: there is still plenty to discover and experience in Paris for another visit. Hope to see you back soon!

"perfect space in fabulous location"
We truly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended this rental property to another. The kitchen has a great view and all the ammenities. There is grocery store close by. Appreciated the extra 1/2 bathroom. Second bed is a fold out couch that is suprisingly comfortable. The room has sliding doors for privacy. A very nice balcony with lovely view. We will return.
I'm really happy you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to having you and/or your friends with us in Paris soon again.

"Spacious apartment, modern facilities and great location"
We had never rented a vacation apartment before, but this apartment was a great find. It gave us a sample of living in Paris and the pleasure of vacationing. We (three adults) absolutely enjoyed our 14 nights there, and would stay in this apartment again. Location is excellent with good walking distance to the Metro, bus stops, supermarkets, restaurants and many other sites. The owner was extremely pleasant and his House Manager was really nice and available upon arrival / via cell phone. We totally recommend this vacation rental. You will definately enjoy it!
I was really pleased to see that you enjoyed staying with us, especially after you told me that this was the first time you rented an apartment for your holiday. Just like yourselves, we always prefer staying at a place you can call your home, when travelling. Even with so many great restaurants around to choose from, there's nothing like cooking your own meal at home, allowing you to visit one of the many markets, to sample some local specialities and to buy your preferred fruits & vegetables. We certainly look forward to seeing you in Paris soon again.

"Deluxe accommodations in a convenient location"
This very modern apartment is equipped with everything we needed and more. It's very close to a supermarket, metro, train and bus transportation and a Velib bike rack. The terrace was of special interest for us. Spacious and comfortable, highly recommended.
Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you back to Paris another time.

"Great apartment in a great location"
Overall, a really good quaility apartment in a very nice part of Paris. The apartment is spacious and well laid out offering good space for 2 couples with all the facilities you need. The location is great and a short walk away from Bastille Metro offering easy access to the city. The surrounding area is very nice with views across the Arsenal Basin and Marina. The market on Sunday which runs from Bastille to Richard Lenoir is fantastic. Owners are very easy to deal with and booking was efficient and hassle free.
We're delighted to learn that you enjoyed your stay at our apartment in Paris, and look forward to welcoming you and your friends back again soon, to discover more of Paris, its sights, markets and restaurants. Next time, we'll give you some more recommendations of local non-touristic places in the neighbourhood, offering good value and delicious food.
