Situated on Observatory Street providing immediate access to all the local amenities on Walton Street, including cafes, bars, restaurants and cinema. Oxford bus station and city centre are approximately ten minutes walk from the house with Oxford mainline station approximately ten minutes walk which is ideal for commuting with London Paddington accessed in just 40 minutes.

Weekly lets run from Friday to Friday, although alternative arrangements can be made by negotiation.
Under the terms of our insurance, the house is a non-smoking property.

Weekly rates are £1450 per week apart from the following exceptions:
Jan-Feb £1250 per week.
June, July, August & Christmas / New Year £1650 per week.
A definitive date specific tariff calendar is available from our agent.

Weekend or short breaks may be available at short notice (excluding June-August).
A minimum stay of 3 nights applies.
Fri-Sun £325 a night
Mon-Thurs £275 a night

A linen surcharge applies to groups of 10.
We do not take bookings from large same sex groups.

The Cotswolds many attractions include museums and galleries, historic houses, gardens and wildlife parks.

Set in the Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace is considered to be one of the finest baroque houses in the country. Inside the Palace can be found a superb collection of tapestries, paintings, porcelain and furniture in the magnificent State Rooms.

Sir Winston Churchill was born in the Palace in 1874 and a permanent exhibition about him is located next to his birth room. He is buried in a simple grave in the nearby church at Bladon.

Surrounding the Palace are over 2000 acres of beautiful parkland, lakes, fountains and formal gardens including the Secret Garden, the Water Terraces, Rose Garden and Grand Cascade. A miniature train, a great favourite with all ages, connects the Palace to the Pleasure Gardens where a range of fun activities for children are located including the Marlborough Maze, the Butterfly House, the Lavender Garden, Adventure Playground and Blenheim Bygones exhibition.

The Ashmolean Museum, established in 1683, is the oldest museum in the UK and one of the oldest in the world. It houses collections of art and antiquities, which are of national and international importance. They range from the civilisations of ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome to Renaissance Europe and the 20th Century. There is also an extensive Far Eastern collection

Visit Bodleian Library, the medieval divinity school, the oldest teaching and examination room of the university, a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture. Punting is also an enjoyable and popular way to spend a summer’s day in Oxford. Cherwell Boathouse has over 70 hand built punts plus rowing boats.

The guests should make a good effort to clean an tidy at the end of their stay. The landlord will pay for up to 4 hours cleaning at the end of their stay. If more then 4 hours cleaning is required then the guests will be charged for any additional cleaning over and above these 4 hours. The guests shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects and leave them in the same state and condition as found at the beginning of the guests stay.
