Alishan Cornwall Holidays at Astor Court is a stylish apartment on the first floor of the building. It sleeps up to 6 people in comfort. The lounge and both bedrooms have sunset views towards the sea. They extend far out to sea straight ahead and miles along the dramatic north Cornish coastline in both directions. The windows extending from the floor to ceiling ensure light and airy feeling.The apartment is jam-packed with goodies – free and unlimited high-speed wi-fi, HD TV and FreeView satellite, DVD player, washing/dryer machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker, oven and a large dining table. The Apartment is decorated with Cornish theme art work. The Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed, an en-suite shower room, a gigantic wardrobe, and a TV. The Guest Bedroom has a double-bed and a large wardrobe. So there are plenty of spaces for storing personal belongings and suitcases. The sofa bed in the Lounge can sleep two people. In addition to a large bathroom, the Apartment is also equipped with a highchair and a cot. As the Apartment is accessible by a lift/an elevator, it is suitable for families with young children, or guests requiring assistance, e.g. wheelchair. There is a dedicated off-street parking space. A parking bollard has been installed to secure the parking space, particularly during peak seasons. Alishan Holiday Apartment fulfils all benefits for holidaymakers, who dream of freedom, relaxation, exploration, and economy blended together. It is at a perfect location for all holidaymakers, all occasions and all year round .

Getting around

The Apartment is easily accessible via public transport; bus stops are immediately in front of the apartment, where the buses can take you to Newquay town. It only takes 2 mins to walk to Tolcarne Beach and Lusty Glaze Beach, both famous for their excellent bars, restaurants, and surfing schools.Ten mins walk along the scenic South West Walk Path to the centre of town, you will find the town centre is fully packed with lively bars, restaurants of worldwide cuisines, and night clubs. The best way to get into town is to walk. Parking in the summer season would be difficult. The town centre is about ten minutes away by foot. Remember this is Cornwall so you should expect some hills, but the route from the Apartment into Town is quite manage

Stayed here for 3 nights with extended family for a Cornish holiday/break. The apartment was spotless and was made up like a hotel suite! Instructions from the owner were clear and upon arrival we parked up and made our way straight in. The view from the living room of the coast and sea is amazing - very relaxing to just sit there and watch the sunset and the local dog walkers. The main access road runs in front of the apartment block, but as you're on the first floor, your eye-level view is the seafront and the sea itself. The apartment itself has got all the appliances you would need - cooker, pots and pans, crockery, oven, washer/dryer, etc. Location wise, its on a stretch of about 3 or 4 hotels which appear to cater to older aged tour groups, so very family friendly (in the sense that you won't be running into any stag do groups!). Its a 10min walk from the shops and a 5min walk from one of the beaches (sorry can't remember the name). There's a Tesco metro two buildings away which is open until 11 for all your late night snacking requirements. Newquay itself is quite a good central location for visiting Cornwall, though you don't need this review to tell you that! 10/10 would return.

So pleased with this apartment. It was very clean and tidy, looked pretty much brand new! Very well equip kitchen, great living area and good TV with loads of channels (great for the kids) the master bedroom had loads of storage and a lovely en-suit. The second bedroom also had load of storage and was very light and airy. So chuffed with this apartment and for the price I would happily go again!!
