Norfolk House, on Sulgrave Road, is a charming, unusually large one-bedroomed (with additional double sofa bed in separate room) Victorian apartment in the ‘village’ of West London’s Brook Green in Kensington Olympia. The apartment has high ceilings, huge windows, is light and airy and is decorated and equipped to a high standard. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, on one of the most desirable roads in the area, within easy reach of Olympia Exhibition Hall, the amazing new Westfield shopping centre and High Street Kensington.

This unusually spacious apartment has a large living room and an even larger separate dining area with seating for up to four guests. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven & hob, microwave and full cooking equipment. There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels. Also an ipod docking station and Wi-Fi broadband access. The property is cleaned weekly,

The new mega-mall at Westfield (the biggest in Europe) with its extensive retail, restaurant, leisure and transport facilities is also within easy walking distance.

Norfolk House has a well-proportioned bedroom, with modern king size bed, and plenty of storage space. There is a newly renovated bathroom with travertine tiling and modern ultra luxurious bath, and plenty of hot water. Towels and bed linen are provided. There is also a very comfortable extra large double sofa bed in the sitting room.

This area of West London is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (25 mins by car, Tube or taxi), a stone’s throw from uber chic Kensington & Chelsea, magnificent Holland and Hyde parks are just down the road, as is the amazing new shopping mall at Westfield. There are many nearby Tube stations for access to central London, and one of the best gastro pubs in London, the Havelock Tavern, as well as many acclaimed London restaurants in close proximity.

The England region

Norfolk House is a two minute walk to Goldhawk Road Tube station (Hammersmith & City Line) and a five minute walk to Shepherds Bush Tube (Central Line), and Hammersmith on the Piccadilly Line in 7-8 minutes. Central London is no further than 25 minutes away by these routes. There are also regular buses to many different destinations from the bus stops on the Shepherds Bush Road (two minutes walk). You can use the popular Boris Bikes –pick up and drop off. You just need to open an account with them online, it's easy. It is also easy to walk to High Street Kensington and Holland Park (about 15 minutes) and from there London is your oyster. Speaking of oysters, don’t forget to buy an Oyster card, as it makes tube and train rides much cheaper.

“We had a wonderful time in London!”

Our family of 4 (including 2 teenage girls) enjoyed the flat very much. The location is great - just a couple of minutes' walk to the nearest tube station (Goldhawk). The apartment building is on a very quiet and seemingly safe street, and walking distance from a very nice, large, high-end mall (Westfield). The apartment itself is just as the pictures portrayed; somewhat better, actually. As of Nov. 2015, the apartment felt very new & updated, yet had a certain charm. Very clean and well-maintained. The apartment was very well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. Sophie met us at the apartment when we arrived, and was very friendly and helpful. She promptly answered all my emails and text messages. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again if given the chance!

Apartment 4 @ Norfolk house was our home in London for 7 nights .The apartment is clean, well stocked with modern amenities, comfortable & well located.Its like a second home away from home for me & my two teenaged daughters.The neighbourhood felt safe as We frequently walked home late at night without any problems. Westfield mall,Hammersmith(Primark,M&S,Kings Mall,TK maxx,Boots) ,Tesco,cafés,restaurants (Halal restaurants especially for Muslim Travellers & Gold hawk tube station is only a few mins walk. We were met by Sophie at the apartment upon our arrival .She was efficient & answered any questions promptly.Hugo ,the Owner was very prompt in replying to my emails regarding the bookings& other relevant enquiries pertaining to our trip. Overall we had a great time & stay at the apartment & would definitely stay there again in future.

My wife and I wanted a few days in London before we flew back to Hong Kong where we currently live. The flat was perfect after having time with friends and family, it was a home away from home. The location proved to be ideal as we were wanting to explore more of the Kensington area. We ventured to Holland Park which was in easy reach. The checking in and out of the apartment was made easy and all the information about the apartment was made available within the flat. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a taste of London life.

Great apartment! Nice neighborhood. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The place is nicely furnished, good beds one king size double bed in the bedroom an a huge kingsize pull out bed in the living room. We loved the location. We could leave our bags in a storage room after checking out so we didn't have to carry them all day. There are some nice pubs with good food just around the corner, and there is easy access from there to central London.

From the first day I felt very much at home in the apartment. It is very nicely furnished in a warm but minimalist design; the kitchen and living area is a bit nicer than the photos and the bathroom is very new and nice. The bed is extremely comfortable and the whole apartment is filled with light. Wireless worked great and the highlight was the small table on the balcony which was perfect for breakfast each morning. Another thing which sets the apartment apart is that it is always rented out and so there is no cluttter. I had the pleasure of meeting Lizzie who greeted me warmly and checked how my stay was going. Both Hugh and Lizzie are first class. Highly recommend and you should do so before I return!!
