Norfolk House, on Sulgrave Road, is a charming, unusually large one-bedroomed (with additional huge double sofa bed in separate room) Victorian apartment in the trendy and vibrant 'village' of West London's Brook Green in Kensington Olympia. The apartment has high ceilings, huge windows, is light and airy and is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, on one of the most desirable roads in the area, within easy reach of the amazing new Westfield shopping centre and High Street Kensington.

This unusually spacious apartment has a large living room and an even larger separate dining area with seating for up to four guests. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dish-washer, oven & hob, microwave and full cooking equipment. Norfolk House has a well-proportioned bedroom, with modern king size bed, and plenty of storage space. There is a newly renovated bathroom with travertine

There is also a very comfortable double sofa bed in the sitting room suitable for one adult or two kids.

There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels, and DVD. Also an ipod docking station and free wifi broadband access. The property is cleaned before and after your visit, and there is also a washing machine available. There is security intercom access from the street below.

There are a variety of local shops and pubs around Brook Green, and also a short walk/taxi ride away on High Street Kensington you will find a huge array of world class restaurants and big-name shops. The new mega-mall at Westfield (the biggest in Europe) with its extensive retail, restaurant, leisure and transport facilities is also within easy walking distance.

Please note: Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at 11am. We try to be flexible with this wherever possible, but it is frequently not possible due to other bookings. To guarantee an early check in, guests would need to also book the night the before so that we can block that date out on the calendar. Or you can use the fabulous AirPortr bag delivery service to get your bags delivered later in the day. And there is also a handy left luggage facility just up the road at Westfield shopping mall anyway which we can give you the address for.

We manage six 'home from home' apartments in the London Kensington Olympia area. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and the fact that we will be on hand 24/7 for any information requests or to resolve any problems. We have a full time housekeeper on hand, the indomitable Ana, and we are always reachable by phone or email. Please note that all of these apartments are exclusive dedicated full time short let apartments, they are not people's homes just vacated! My husband works for the world's foremost upmarket travel magazine and he loves to pass on any hidden gems in London he has discovered. The England region

Since the London Eye opened it has been a cartwheeling success with incredible views of the entire capital city, the river front, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, stretching all the way to the high rise skyscrapers of the City and Canary Wharf.

Famous Holland Park is just an 10-15 minute walk away; it has very old royal connections, beautiful gardens, roaming peacocks, and in the summer months, a wonderful outdoor opera. You can take a picnic along there, and pop in at the lovely shops by Holland Park tube station on the way back. Well worth a stroll!

You can't come to London and not go shopping at the new mega-mall at Westfield. It's a temple of glass and steel, uber smart and rapidly
becoming the place to be seen. You'll find a state-of-the-art Vue multi-screen cinema, many, fabulous cafes and restaurants... and it's only 5 minutes from the apartment!

Central London/Zone 2

This area of West London is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (25 mins by car, Tube or taxi), a stone's throw from uber chic Kensington & Chelsea, magnificent Holland and Hyde parks are just down the road, as is the amazing new shopping mall at Westfield. There are many nearby Tube stations for access to central London, and one of the best gastro pubs in London, the Havelock Tavern, as well as many
acclaimed London restaurants in close proximity

The flat was exactly as advertised. Great location. Easy access to London tourist spots. Sophie met us and gave us a thorough run down of flat.communication was excellent. Explanatory hand out of flat rules and surrounding area..
