“Great apartment with a fantastic Canary Wharf view and good transport to city center”
The apartment is perfect - clean, with stylish furnishings and a fully-equipped kitchen. The highlight is the scenery visible from the apartment and the balcony; Canary Wharf and the Blackwall Basin provide a breathtaking view. The apartment is within a walking distance to tube and DLR transport services (with good connections to the city center and other sights), as well as groceries. The location is also in a quiet neighborhood and is recommended for everyone looking for a calm holiday. Gillian (the apartment manager) has thought about everything and the organization is smooth, with very fast email response rates and all necessary information about the apartment listed both in the pre-arrival email and a book in the apartment. Overall definitely recommended.
“Great Canary Wharf Views”
This London flat was wonderful to stay in. The great views overlooking Blackwall Basin and Canary Wharf were breathtaking both morning and night. Gillian, the owner, was very good to work with and communicate with. Our train got in earlier than normal check-in time, and she was able to accommodate us with a clean apartment and some personalized welcoming food items based on our requests. The Blackwall DLR station and system is very clean and easy to access all the London sites. We had a great vacation here, and would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here just before Easter with my wife and two teenage daughters. Views of canary wharf at anytime are simply stunning. Apartment was clean and everything worked perfectly. My daughters were particularly happy that the wifi was very good! Short walk to DLG then into the city. We were a little lazy on two evenings when we drove to canary wharf for something to eat but it's not too far to walk. Would definitely recommend and would book again. The owner Gillian was very helpful in the booking process.
“Fabulous vacation in a gorgeous apartment”
Gillian was the perfect host. The apartment was beautifully clean. It was perfect for two adults and two children. We had a lovely time relaxing and sightseeing. We would totally recommend this apartment.
“Homely apartment in a great location with fantastic views.”
An apartment which offered good amenities in a very accessible location for transport into Central London and the O2. Very quiet and relaxing location surrounded by water and within easy walking distance of the shops at Canary Wharf. The owner is very accommodating and provided all the necessary home comforts making it a very enjoyable carefree stay. The Gun, a gastro pub, is just around the corner for good food and wine offering a pleasant evening. Hopefully we will stay in this apartment again next year.

“Fantastic roomy unit, immaculate presentation and quiet”
Stayed 7 nights with a friend, bedroom each, in late September. Due to holiday changes arrived a few hours earlier than originally planned. Gillian kindly offered to allow drop off of luggage while she cleaned the unit from the previous guests. I rec'd a text as soon as it was ready. Although the Blackwall DLR is closer my recommendation for anyone arriving with luggage is to alight at Canary Wharf and catch a taxi. Cab Rank is there, fare was around £7, well worth it for the first day if you aren't familiar with the area and/or don't want to haul your luggage about the streets. First impression of the unit was very favourable and that impression never left. I was in the main bedroom, very comfortable mattress, in fact wanted to bring the bed back home with me. The full size kitchen was appreciated though never used. There's a pin board in the kitchen with local take out menus, very handy for the nights you don't feel like going out for dinner. Milk in the fridge on arrival meant a relaxing cuppa while sitting on the balcony overlooking the water. My only negative was the lack of a clothes dryer as you can't rely on sunny days to dry your clothes. Most likely not a concern for most though. Gillian replied to all emails quite promptly and was very easy to deal with. My security deposit was returned almost immediately and the wi-fi reception was very good. I'd happily stay here again and would recommend to family/friends.

I would love to install a tumble dryer, but there just isn't the space in the kitchen, so I hope the retractable washing line on the balcony, which is under cover of the balcony above, helps future guests to dry their clothes.
“Perfect base for exploring the city”
We, a family of four with two teenagers, stayed there for 5 days. The apartment borders the water of the Blackwell basin on two sides, with gorgeous views of Canary Wharf over the water, geese and ducks flying by now and then... It's a quiet oasis in the rush of the city, perfect for recharging your batteries for the next exploration. The Docklands Light Railway & the tube can be reached in less than 10 min on foot. From there it takes perhaps 10 to 15 min to reach the city center. The apartment is very nice and has all facilities needed for a convenient stay. Supermarkets are within easy reach (10-15 min on foot). We hope to be back soon for a more thorough exploration of London!
“Fabulous Flat and Location”
We enjoyed a family stay with our children aged 12 & 10. Flat was perfect for our needs, immaculately clean and welcome pack of milk, organge juice, tea, coffee etc... was very much appreciated. Owner was extremely helpful during booking and providing information on area, lots of helpful information was also available in the apartment. Loved the views from balcony, Canary Wharf is such a nice, clean area to get away from the hustle and bustle every night was great and commuting from there is so easy with a choice of boat, DLR or tube. Would definately recommend to others.

We were exhibiting at the Excel and it was lovely to come home to this apartment rather that a hotel. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay

I stayed at this apartment in March 2014 with a friend. We found the apartment and garage with no problem, and when we walked in all we could say was wow... It was a beautiful sunny day, and we instantly started taking photos of the amazing views. Gillian was very helpful and friendly when we booked, and had left us tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit, milk etc. for when we arrived. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and well furnished. It was good after a day out in London to return to a home that was comfortable, and quiet. We found supermarkets nearby, and Gillian has left information about the take aways and restaurants in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends -( I have done already). I hope to return soon.
