The very quiet and comfortable double bedroom offers built-in wardrobe, contemporary chest of drawers and dressing table, antique mirror, CD/radio/alarm clock. The apartment features one bathroom with bathtub, shower, toilet and washbasin, with large mirrored cabinet. Fresh towels are provided. There is a well designed open plan kitchen, very well equipped with all necessary utensils required for cooking and dining-in. Fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas hob with electric grill and oven, toaster, coffee percolator.The quiet lounge provides comfortable relaxing, seating and dining space for 4 people. Contemporary furnishing, flat screen TV, DVD player the large sofa, which turns into a comfortable double sofa bed are also provided. Doors open onto decked terrace.The terrace runs along the length of the apartment, accessed from the lounge and provides additional relaxing space during warm summer days and nights. The large hallway offers coat rails, umbrella stand and small console table.

Greenwich, in the south east of London is a World Heritage Site and home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Meridian Line. Famous landmarks in GReenwich include the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory, and Sir Christopher Wren’s Old Royal Naval College.

Enjoy a walk along the River Thames or in Greenwich Park before eating in one of Greenwich’s restaurants. Greenwich shopping is excellent, with plenty of quirky, independent shops and street markets. Central London and its many attractions can be reached within few minutes on the DLR or overground train.

Journey times from Greenwich the local DLR station (under 1 min walk from the apartment), to London Bridge (1 stop) 7 mins for Tate Modern, HMS Belfast, Borough Market, Globe Theatre. Charing Cross (3 stops) 17 mins for Nelsons Column, National Portrait Gallery, The Strand/ Covent Garden, No 10 Downing Street, Leicester Square. Canary Wharf (4 stops) 8 mins for many fantastic shops and dockside attractions. The O2 Arena 15 mins via public transport.

The apartment is nice and the location perfect for both Greenwich and for travelling London. The area is quiet, and the grocery shop only meters away. The stay in Rubicon met my expectations and the service was good.

"Still wonderful!"

I adore this place. If you look through the reviews you'll see I've stayed a few times already. Please check out those earlier reviews! Everything is just as lovely as my first trip and keeps getting better. They've upgraded the internet again and it works well. Good signal inside/outside. The neighborhood is still just as nice and at night it's very quiet especially considering how many other people are living there. Check in and out were lovely as always and I appreciate the flexibility with timing (my plane was delayed). Communication was excellent throughout. I hope I'll be able to return again someday :-)

"A lovely place to come back to after a tiring day of sightseeing"

The apartment was clean and comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. Personal touches like ornaments, paintings and fresh flowers made it feel like a home rather than a rental. The location, less than 1 minute from the train and DLR station, meant easy access into central London but also enabled us to appreciate the many attractions that Greenwich has to offer. At the end of a long day of sightseeing the apartment provided a welcome retreat where we could relax and recharge our batteries.

"This apartment was perfect for us and totally deserved a gold medal."

This apartment was perfect for us, the owners were helpful and the business side was extremely smooth. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to the apartment which is really lovely, tastefully furnished, comfortable and practical, it soon became our home from home. The Greenwich location was perfect for us too as we had tickets for events at Olympic equestrians venue. This is also where the fairness of the owners was most aparent as their price for this period was extremely reasonable. Greenwich was a surprise, a very pleasant one, what an interesting area. the Cutty Sark, the Naval College, Greenwich Park which has the Observatory, the museums, local shops, Greenwich market (I bought some beautiful gifts there), the icecream tea shop mmm and several eating places all added to our holiday. Our biggest thrill, apart from the Olympics, was the river ferries, you could not ask for a better way to travel into the centre of London especially for access to places like the Tower or the Houses of Parliament, totally stress free and they ran really late at night too. The apartment was close to the DLR station at Greenwich and our ventures on this form of transport proved positive experiences. Frequent services linking into the underground. I still have trouble believing we found such a perfect place to stay, do try it, I can't praise it enough. We awarded the apartment and owners a gold medal (a Cadbury's chocolate one) as we were so happy with our stay, totally enhanced our Olympic experience.

"Greenwich Flat"

The Greenwich flat was great for our stay in London this year. My partner and I have been to london numerous times over the years and would return to the "Rubicon" again. Christina met me at the flat even though my flight arrived late. after 11 hours on a plane I was tired and to have a very nice welcome was great. Upon arrivial she showed me the things I needed to know and to call if there were any problems, and told me about the "Quirky" washing machine. We did have an issue with the machine when we tried to use it later in the week. I called and reached Lawrence and he came over to sort the problem. Since our stay the washing machine QUIRK has been fixed. LOL. The flat is a bit of a journey from heathrow but once there its less than a min walk to the Greenwich DLR train station. We found it to be more convienent to use the Cannon Street Tube station to access the DLR during the weekdays but it closed on the weekends. There is aslo a small shop within 50 meters of the flat that is pretty well stocked for those things you need without having to go far. They are also a very friendly neighbour hood shop. The BIG Question is "Would we stay there again ? " The Answer is Yes ...... They even had a Welcome bottle of Champagne and Milk and Orange Juice in the Fridge waiting.

"Awesome apartment"

Lovely and clean apartment, ideally located just a few minutes from a station and a grocery store. Situated in a quiet and secure area, minutes away from Greenwich Town Centre. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Would definetly stay there again.

"Elegant apartment in a very convenient location for London"

We have enjoyed our stay in the apartment for a week. It is located in a very convenient location, less than 2 mins walk to Greenwich train/DLR station with frequent trains to London Bridge Tube station (7 mins), Cannon St. and Charing Cross where you can connect with London Tube network. The apartment itself is very quiet and comfortable with all amenities and is very elegantly decorated. A small food and wine shop is at the corner of the block and a medium size supermarket is about 5 mins walk. The front door key and the washer/dryer needed a bit of getting used to but once you knew the tricks (and read the instructions!), they worked perfectly. There was no internet connection in the apartment but if you need to go online, you could connect to the public wifi (BTOpenzone) and pay as you go (GBP 15 for 5 days, other options available). Vodafone and T Mobile cellphone signals were strong (stay away from O2 UK where signal was quite poor) Christina and her family who greeted us on arrival are very warm and helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend the place to visitors to London.

"Well appointed and convenient to train and tube!"

The owners didn't scrimp on the interior decor and appointments of this appartment so enjoyable for my ten day stay while I visited my son who Greenwich is superb for good restaurants. pubs and stores, extremely historic and so convenient to the apartment. I would stay there again!

"Luxury 1 bedroom city apartment in Greenwich"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Everything we needed was provided (including loo rolls, liquid hand soap, laundry powder, dishwasher tablets). Luxurious bedlinen and towels. The apartment is compact but plenty of room for 2 adults and a young teenager. Very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge area for the teenager. The apartment was very clean and everything worked well. Plenty of hot water. An added bonus is the terrace with wooden bench. A lovely place to sit after a long day sight seeing. Very close to the station and the centre of Greenwich. There's a mini supermarket close by and a larger Sainsbury's a few minutes walk from the other side of the station. The owners were really friendly and helpful.

"Stylish comfortable apartment in Greenwich"

My partner and I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in September and were extremely comfortable there. The apartment is very modern, clean, with comfortable furnishings and very tasteful and individual decor. The kitchen is very well equipped and convenient. The building is well maintained and very quiet. The location could not be better as it is just across the road from Greenwich station where you have a choice of either the Docklands Light Rail or frequent mainline trains to London Bridge. Greenwich shops are a short stroll away. Christina and her family, who were there to greet us and show us around when we arrived, were very charming and helpful. We would certainly be happy to stay here again on future visits to London.
