Ivy Lettings Explores the Leafy and Safe Fulham Neighborhood: Pubs, Cafes, Eateries...

You are a ten minute walk to Parsons Green Underground Station, which allows quick, direct links to the rest of the city via the district line. Various grocery stores, coffee shops, an ATM and a multitude of restaurants are available in the immediate vicinity along the Wandsworth Bridge Road.

Foodies are in for a treat, with The White Horse, an iconic London dining and drinking spot, within strolling distance. It has become famous for its BBQs, sunny beer garden, warm interior and welcoming, urban crowd. Mao Tai, an upmarket bar and restaurant serving delicious South East Asian cuisine, is also one not to be missed. The King’s Road, famed for its designer shops and classy bars, like Bluebird, is a very short bus ride away. A local favourite is Vicino - a welcoming, upmarket Italian serving wonderfully fresh dishes paired with the perfect wine.

Fulham is an up-and-coming area of London that is patronized by wealthy professionals and families alike. It nestles in a western loop of the River Thames, and similarly to its eastern neighbour, Chelsea, Fulham negotiates the fine line between being a quiet residential district and a hub for upmarket entertainment. The Fulham Road, with its endless shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and theatres attests to its status as the new go-to place for upscale attractions. On the boundary between Chelsea and Fulham, any veteran sports fan seeking to catch a glimpse of 2012 F.A. Cup winners and European Champions, Chelsea F.C., can book a seat for a home game at the Stamford Bridge stadium located just next to Fulham Broadway station. This property is also a short walk from the famous King’s Road, a delightful mix of chain stores and high-end boutiques. This area is home to the impressive exhibitions at the Saatchi Gallery, the horticultural displays of the Chelsea Physics Garden and the splendour of Sir Christopher Wren’s Royal Hospital, which plays annual host to the Chelsea Flower Show.

Slightly further afield you come to the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre that hosts some of the most diverse events and conferences in London. Exploring beyond here you’ll find the stunning Hyde Park, the fascinating Victoria and Albert Museum and the prestigious Harrods.
