Pimlico is a safe area within the City of Westminster. Like Belgravia, which is an extension of Pimlico, it is known for its grand garden squares and wonderful Regency architecture. Here you will find an impressive concentration of historic and prestigious landmarks - the Tate Britain being but one of them. It’s many lovely residential streets and buildings are very attractive and genteel. The high street is filled with local pubs, cafes and shops and the proximity to Victoria Station makes getting around London simple and quick.

Locals go to the popular Tachbrook Street Market for their food requirements where fish, meat, fruit and veg are to be had from Monday t0 Saturday. There is plenty of exclusive shopping in interesting boutiques and great deli’s. Pretty and secure, with a calm village feel, Pimlico manages to combine high culture with everyday convenience.

It’s easy to forget how close you are to everything here. Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral and of course, The Palace of Westminster are all nearby. Stroll down to the Thames to take a quiet walk and recharge your batteries - the sights at night are to be recommended.
