CHILDREN
This apartment is probably best for adults and teenage kids. It can be noisy at night and is an area with many bars and nightclubs so not ideal for young children. Even so I will consider bookings from families with younger kids if you are interested.

Further details indoors

The apartment is on the 3rd and 4th floors of an 18th century building and is surprisingly quiet. The top floor living area has windows on both sides as well as a fire escape so lots of sunlight all day long! This flat is my home though I let rooms out to people visiting London and am often away making it available for short lettings.
I am hope you will enjoy staying in this flat, it has a lot of character and I am very happy when I am there, I am sure you will be too.

Location description from owner

The England region

London is full of interesting places to visit from great shops, restaurants, bars and clubs to world famous museums and galleries. The apartment is located close to the British Museum and the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery, also nearby is Trafalgar Square with the famous Nelson's Column. It is also a short journey to the massive Tate Modern art gallery and the attractions of the South Bank which feature the National Theatre and the National Film Theatre as well as numerous places to eat and drink all over-looking the Thames.

Central London/Zone 1

One of the most vibrant, fashionable and central of London's neighbourhoods, Soho provides an ideal base to see the city. It's narrow streets and relatively small area (it was at one time a village!) enable it to maintain its distinct atmosphere and charm despite being bordered by some of London's busiest streets! Soho is home to many diverse communites making it a truly colourful place to visit .

Always unconventional, Soho has a great history of atracting bohemians, artists and literary figures. It was also known for its Jazz clubs, of which 'Ronnie Scotts' and the 100 Club are still thriving.

Bordering the area, Oxford Street is a famous shopping location. One end is a little run down but as you make your way towards Hyde Park the standard improves. Department Stores including Selfridges and John Lewis can be found here as can many clothing stores and the Virgin Megastore. Bond Street turns off Oxford Street and is home to expensive fashion outlets such as Prada and Gucci also on this street is Sotherbys, the famous auction house.
