Sleeping accommodation consists of 5 x single beds, 1 x double bed, 2 x king sized beds (known in the US as 'queens'' - they are 5'6" or 150 cm wide) plus 2 x very comfortable fold-out sofa bed-chairs. There are ornate ceilings and period chandeliers in all the main rooms and every modern convenience throughout the house: washing machine and dryer, irons and ironing boards, microwaves, dishwasher, hair-dryers, three televisions (with Internet access), Blu Ray DVD players, radio/sound systems/alarm clocks with MP3/iPhone docks, linen/towels, books, toys, DVDs and baby equipment. Minimum rental for this apartment is normally 3 nights but shorter stays between existing bookings are occasionally possible. Many of our rentals are longer rentals, and the house is always let as a whole to a family or a group.

An additional cleaning fee of up to £295 may be chargeable.

London: financial centre, cultural centre and tourist centre - more world heritage sites than any other city. Weather variable - but who cares!?! There's so much to see and do that you couldn't fit it all into a year if you went somewhere new every day . . .

Central London/Zone 1

The location of this wonderful house is unbeatable. Although it is situated in the very heart of London, it is quietly situated. The area is very safe and well served in every possible way. The neighbouring streets are full of great local shops, cafes and restaurants. At one end of the street is a local food market; at the other, under two minutes' walk from the house, Pimlico Underground ('Tube') Station and terrific local bus routes. From the house it is just a short stroll to Victoria Station, Tate Britain, the Thames, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, St James’ Park, Battersea Park, Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Several theatres, too, are within easy walking distance, and it is only a short tube/bus/taxi ride (or you can walk) to Hyde Park, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, the West End, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, the National Gallery, the National Theatre, the National Film Theatre, the Festival Hall, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the London Eye, the London Aquarium and other main London attractions. There are easy transport links to all London airports and mainline stations, and London and regional bus tours. For those who like to run or jog, there are great routes along the River Thames and through the beautiful local streets and parks. A Sports Centre with gym and public swimming pools is under five minutes walk from the house.
