New to the market for 2014, the property has wireless internet access; the sitting room has 2 sofas which easily seats 5, a flatscreen 48” LED TV with freeview, Bose 5.1 sound system and iPod/Phone dock and bluetooth connectivity to play your own music. The fully fitted kitchen includes dining table (seats up to 6) and chairs, two ovens (both with grills, one also with microwave), fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, glassware, crockery and cooking utensils…..although with great restaurants on your doorstep you may not wish to use it that often! We keep it stocked with basics for use by renters (we just ask that you replace what you use). Washing machine and clothes airer, iron, ironing board, hoover, radios and hair drier provided.

As well as Pimlico being in a highly central location (zone 1) ideal for exploring historic London, it is mainly residential, and has many good restaurants, shops and facilities, including a daily street market, all within a short walking distance from the property. 'Santander bikes' are available to rent just 2 minutes away. From Pimlico underground station it is just 3 stops to Oxford Street for great shopping too.

Being close to Victoria station there are good bus routes close by, including to Knightsbridge, South Kensington (shopping, museums and galleries) and Hyde Park. And just a short walk towards the River Thames,are buses to Parliament Square, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden (tourist sites, galleries and shopping). Victoria station has direct links to Gatwick Airport (mainline) and to Kings Cross St Pancras for the Eurostar to France/Belgium, (underground). There is a bus service from Victoria offering regular services to Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge and other destinations.

Linen and towels are provided, Cleaning will be charged at £150 per stay. No pets allowed. No smoking at this property. The property is not suitable for the very young (under 5 years) if you wish to bring children please state their ages in your request, thank you. We are sorry but we CANNOT accept bookings for children under 5 years due to insurance restrictions.

Our property has a strict non smoking policy, evidence of smoking in our property during your visit will result in the forfeit of your damage deposit. The configuration of our property means there is one flight of external steps and 3 half flights of stairs internally, if is therefore not suitable for those who find it difficult climbing steps.

The London region

London is a vibrant, bustling city steeped in culture and history with many hidden treasures to discover. The list of things to do and places to see is endless. As the old saying goes ... "if you are tired of London... you are tired of life!" The city of London is home to Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, the gothic buildings of Westminster, Big Ben and St Paul's Cathedral... just a few of the landmark places of interest to visit. There are a wide array of free galleries and museums that are very easy to access using the great public transport networks including buses, tubes and London's Black cabs (taxis). Why not try visiting the Tate Gallery then taking a taxi boat along the river Thames, past the Houses of Parliament to visit Tate Modern on the South bank where there are a wealth of restaurants, cafés, market stalls and street performers as well as the London Eye and London Aquarium? Shopping in London is second to none. Whether you want to shop for luxury goods at Selfridges or Harrods, hit the high street shops of Oxford Street, the vintage shops at Covent Garden (Seven Dials) or explore the stalls of Brick lane, Camden and Borough markets, it is all on your door step. The West End is home to some of the world's greatest theatres with Soho, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and China town all in walking distance of each other. We reckon the location of our property is unbeatable! Situated in a residential area, just 2 minutes to the nearest Underground station and a short stroll to Victoria Station, it is easily accessible for great shopping and many tourist attractions..... Tate Britain, the River Thames, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St James' Park, Battersea Park, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye, the London Aquarium, river boat rides, King's Road shopping & Chelsea are close by, and just a short bus or tube ride are shopping areas and attractions such as Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and South Kensington. Why not visit Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Leicester Square, the National Gallery, the National Theatre, the National Film Theatre, the Imperial War Museum, Hyde Park, the South Bank with the Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Tate Britain and all the other main central London attractions?....there is really too much to list here! For late night finishes, the apartment's location is close to 24-hour bus routes, and a taxi destination too. Within close walking distance are great local shops and restaurants as well and even a daily street market. There are easy transport links to all London airports and mainline stations, and London and regional bus tours - many leave from Victoria itself! All in all, the area and location of our apartment is great, ensuring an ideal base for sightseeing/shopping and indeed as a relaxing 'home from home' - great for unwinding too.
