“Great Central London flat”

Reviewed 29 Feb 2016

I have stayed at this flat 3 times now. It is a perfect apartment for 1 or 2 guests. It's top floor, clean, quite, comfortable and plenty spacious. It is a great location: very close to 2 Tube lines, Reagent's Park and a wealth of good food and drink. I recommend Dabbous for dinner just a few blocks away. The host/proprietor is exceptionally helpful and made the booking experience easy and efficient. I will make sure to book ahead for my next trip to London.

“Lovely penthouse flat in perfect, central location!!”

Reviewed 24 Feb 2016

Flat was very nicely appointed and perfectly clean. Very quiet even though very central location and bustling neighborhood (as it was the penthouse). Perfect location for sight-seeing, which is what we were doing. Stayed there with husband and 18 year old son who slept on the sofa bed in living room. He was perfectly happy. Only drawback was the buzzer on front door out to street was broken and wouldn't take the code we were given when we arrived. We had been alerted to this issue right before we arrived and Liz said the repairman had been called. But it wasn't fixed when we got there and and it was really inconvenient as we had to stand on street for 20 minutes with all our luggage and wait for someone to come out so we could get in (keys were hidden inside and owner couldn't meet us there as she doesn't live nearby). That was the only snag-- that and running out of toilet paper on the 2nd day. Otherwise a perfectly lovely stay and would do it again--just would hope door would be working and would keep an eye on the toilet paper! :)

Owner's reply: Thanks very much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad that you and your family enjoyed the stay. Sorry about the doorbell, which was repaired later that day (and so is working now). It was unfortunate timing. People are in and out of the building all the time so although I was ready to come over, I couldn't have got there before a resident let you in. about the doorbell but it was repaired later that day. I'm glad that all went well for you after that. Yes, the apartment is self-catering so we only supply one roll of toilet paper for when you arrive. The supermarket is less than a 5 minute walk. Thanks for staying with us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back on a future occasion.

Owner's reply: Thanks SP. Really glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure helping. We hope to welcome you back on a future occasion

“Great flat. Great location”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2015

My wife and I stayed in this lovely flat for 5 nights enjoying a romantic break while the kids stayed with Grandma in Scotland. It was comfortable and well equiped with all the essentials. Being on the top floor it was well away from any street noise. There is a nice terrace with a great view of the BT tower but, the weather being rather cold, we didn't really take much advantage of that. The location is great, only 10 minutes walk from the wonderful British Museum. It is also very close to the Soane Museum, The Hunterian and Wellcome Museums and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. A very pleasant new discovery for me, as a jogger, was Regent's Park. It's not often you get to hear monkeys and see camels on a morning jog (the jogging path takes you alongside London Zoo). Thanks Liz for a lovely stay.

Cannot wait to stay again, just perfect for a stay in London. Great location to reach all the attractions, we even had our shopping delivered on arrival to ensure a good start to our visit and we could make the most of our time in London. I visited with my adult daughter and teenage son, will certainly be back again. Also Liz was very helpful with everything. Julie

This rental is the perfect setting for a closer look at London's streets and attractions, with all amenities within easy walking distance, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The accommodation was comfortable and well thought out, the service was relaxed and friendly, thank you very much for being such accommodating hosts.

Even we couldn't enjoy the terrace (because of rain...), we had great stay. Location is fantastic and Liz is so helpful for everything. Clean living room, bed room and kitchen. Especialy with small child, the appartment was extremely convenience for us. We will for sure stay again for our futur visit to London. Thank you very much Liz for your very professional assistance. It had been with pleasure to staying in your apt.

“A wonderful stay and would love to go again.”

We stayed at the property over the Christmas and New Year period. There were two of us. First thing to mention is the great customer service we got from Liz and Jack. They made our stay a wonderful one. They answered any questions we had promptly and did what they could to rectify any issues. For instance the wi-fi wasn’t working in the flat at the time and due to the holidays it was hard to get the telecoms company to fix it. So Liz came up with an alternative solution which was great. They met us personally on a rainy Christmas Day evening to welcome us into the flat. The flat was nice clean and tidy with a wonderful little balcony. We were actually lucky to watch the New Year fireworks on the London Eye from the balcony which was a wonderful plus we didn’t expect. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs. The flat is perfectly placed if you want to walk around the West End, Regent’s Park, Oxford street etc. To be honest in the summer I could imagine myself walking to Hyde Park and even Notting Hill Gate. Or you can choose to walk up North to Primrose Hill and Hampstead etc. It’s close to public transport as well. It’s in the heart of things but in a relatively quiet location. Even in the cold we walked everywhere. It was great. When I’m next in town I might check the place out again. If you are looking for a wonderful, simple in good way, renovated flat in a nice location in central London with decent management then you can’t go far wrong. Keep up the good work guys and more importantly please don’t let the great customer service slip. That’s what makes the difference. A great short let.
